Carth's magical adventure, ROUND TWO, MOTHERFUCKERS!

[Anastasia]

"No...I'm okay now. Just tired and weighted down by all she told me. And thank you, Carthrat. That means alot to me."

[Carthrat]

Carthrat chuckles. "Don't mention it. But the question is, now.. are you going to come with me?"

[Anastasia]

She looks up. "Well...Diane wanted me to try and actually become a full priestess," she begins, "But I don't know. And quite frankly, if given the choice between coming with you and training for it, I hope you have an extra bed at your place," she says, trying to smile and almost succeeding.

[Carthrat]

Carthrat shrugs. "Think of it this way. When you come with me, you'll be getting life experiance. Life experiance that will be valuable to you when you're a full priestess, or whatever.

Not to mention this trip is all-expenses paid, with excellent outdoor and indoor activites.

We'll be going to Japan. There's.. someone I have to see who may be able to get me what I need. We don't need to leave right away, though."

A grin comes over his face. "Excuse me for saying this, Rachel, but this is the most fun I think I'm going to have had in a while."

[Anastasia]

"Carthrat Tanewaki, my own personal travel agent?" she jests, smiling for real this time.

[Carthrat]

"Your wish is my command, mistress," Carthrat replies, bowing.

[Anastasia]

"Hmm," she half laughs, smiling at your antics. "I'll need someone to housesit, there are some things here that are best not left unguarded. Also...Hmm...I think I need to do some, ah, packing," she says, getting up.

[Carthrat]

Cathrat chuckles to himself. "I'll be in the workshop."

He heads down there to check out what the other half of the datastick is..

[Anastasia]

The second half of the data is dimensional data, both arcane(Which makes little sense to you), and technological. The data is in order, and with it and the proper tools and machines you could maybe, just maybe open a gate to where Diane is.

But it's also getting late, you notice.

[Carthrat]

"Yeah, proper tools. Tools I do not have and are difficult to acquire," mutters Carthrat, aloud.

Well. He'd see Shizue in a few days. Maybe. And then either pay her off or strangle her until she got what he wanted. But now.. time for bed.

[Anastasia]

In the morning, over several cups of coffee that you need since your mind was too wired to sleep well, Rachel broaches a matter. "Carthrat, as you know, there are a...few...items of magical use around here." she begins.

[Carthrat]

"What about them?" he replies.

[Anastasia]

"There are some that I believe could be of use to us," she says. "Care to have a look with me? I have selected a few that we could take."

[Carthrat]

Carthrat nods. "But I believe all of them would be useful. For cash value, if nothing else.

Remember, where we're going, depite what Diane said about high magic and high technology.. well, it's like modern firearms today. Yeah, you might be able to get one or two, but not easily, and the really advanced stuff is extremely difficult to obtain."

[Anastasia]

"Some of them...are of a religious nature, and it would not be acceptable for me to take or sell them. Those must stay," she says firmly. "But others are fair game. Shall we go?"
