Carthrat

"He was," replies Carthrat, "And now is a good time to find out why."

Plugging his phone into his scanner, he gets it to trace the last known call and find it's location..

Rachel raises an eyebrow, but says nothing. Quietly, she watches as Carthrat does his work.

The call is shown to have come from near the docking area of the station. The exact location isn't clear, but it's in the ballpark of there.

<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Carthrat

Carthrat turns off his phone. "Rachel, go back to the apartment and wait. If he gets there before me, tell him I forgot to cash in my prize money."
[19:14] <Annerose> Aww, mouth not outpacing brain after all?

She nods. "You don't trust him after all?" she asks, getting up. She doesn't seem to disapprove, mind you, just curious.

Carthrat

"Yes. And no," replies Carthrat. "It's complicated. But I'm interested to find out what bugs you so much about him.

Oh well. Bye."

Flipping on his cloaking device, Carthrat makes his way to the docks..

Once Carthrat leaves, Rachel smiles before leaving. She seems to be cheered by Carthrat's actions.

It's not an overly long walk to the docking area. The normal mess of people, cargo, ships, tourists and a thousand other things is in full swing, with the flashy signs of promised wealth and excitment luring people in by the dozen.

Tir doesn't look to be out front, however.

Carthrat

Carthrat starts poking around, using his scanner as a reference for where Tir might be..

Poking around doesn't yield much at first, but your scanner is right on.

Tir is in a docked ship deep inside the port, you think. Where inside isn't possible to tell due to various intereference, but he's there.

It'll probably take a few minutes and some fancy footwork to make it there undetected, but it's not impossible. Hopefully.

Carthrat

Carthrat takes the time to do it right, even folding up his cloak so he's not taking up as much space.

It goes wthout incident. PErhaps because of all the security inside of the casino, the security here is a bit more loose. Gettng to the ships isn't too difficult for one of your means.

It turns out to be a smallish cargo ship, outfitted for what looks to be speed. Makes sense for a lightly armored ship in pirate territory - if you can't outgun'em, outrun'em.  It even has the name pained on the side, the Lucky omen.

Tir is inside, your scan shows.

Carthrat

Carthrat quietly sneaks into the ship, if the door is open, stopping if he hears voices inside.

Anastasia

The door is locked magnetically, as is par for spaceships. There isn't any point that you can see for easy access.

Getting in would probably entail at least some force.

Carthrat uses his scanner to check if anyone is nearby the door.)

Anastasia

There isn't anyone by the door. Tir and two others are inside, in what looks to be the control area. One is human, and the other is a non immediately identiable alien race.

Carthrat looks for the control dock to open the door, fishing out his multitool from his cloak..
