Ebiris

Patting down her hair, Rei gives the girl a small smile. "It isn't anything I can't handle."

Corwin

"I'm Misha!" she announces, reassured by Rei's smile and returning it brightly while tilting her head to the side. "It's a pleasure to meet other girls here'su!"

Hearing the girl's name, Rei responds with her own introduction. "I'm Rei, and this is my friend, Makoto."

Suddenly she gets a horrified look on her face. "Wait... you work here, and are the only girl?" she casts a glance at the unconscious pervert on the ground between her and Makoto before giving Misha a look that mixes respect and pity. "How in the world can you stand it?"

Corwin

"It's only temporary'su," Misha says, looking downcast. "I messed up'su, so they sent me to read about what it means to be a good mother'su." Her black rabbit plushie let out an ominous spark, and she added, "I've got protection, though'su. Tehehehe!"

Sighing, Makoto carefully puts away the tazer. "Sorry," she says apologetically again to no one in particular. "Um... what exactly do you mean they sent you here to learn to be a good mother? You don't look old enough... erm...."

"I think Queen Serenity didn't like it when I went with her daughter on a  trip to Earth'su," Misha explains. "She was very angry about that'su, and lectured me a lot and I think I fell asleep in the middle'su, because she was asking me something and I said no'su," she says in a single breath, shrugging and spreading her arms, "and she told me to go here and not to return until I understood how difficult it was being a good mother'su."

The girl sighs, and gives the massive bookcases a mournful look.

Rei nods, vaguely recalling a comment made by the Queen about priestesses Sylphiel and Misha working together...

"Wait a minute!" she suddenly exclaims, "You took the Crown Princess of the Moon Kingdom to Earth?! What were you thinking? Those dirty savages could have eaten her, or worse!"

Corwin

Misha cringes. "Well, they seemed nice! And they were actually very clean'su...."

"I'm sure they only acted nice to lull you into a false sense of security before they would do all manner of unspeakable things to you!" Rei reprimands the priestess.

Corwin

"But we were disguised and they never saw us'su," Misha whines. "And they were just a group of children gathering flowers in the field'su. Children are harmless'su!"

"Then you were very lucky. Who knows what kind of horrible things could have happened to you?"

Wanting to get off the subject of Earth, Rei reiterates her earlier question. "Anyway, do you know where in the library we could find the sealed records on Metallia?"

Corwin

"Metallia? Of course'su!" the priestess exclaims, but then she adds, "And Earthlings are nice'su!"

Ebiris

"I suppose I've never met one myself," Rei concedes, not wanting to get drawn into an argument. "Anyway, can you show us where to find the records? Neither of us are from the Moon, and we're not used to libraries like... this."

Corwin

"Your libraries aren't organized by topic'su?" Misha looks at the two princesses with pity. "Priestesses from other planets have it rough'su."

Ebiris

"Oh, they're organised by topics all right, just... uh... a lot more topics..." Rei says, barely holding back the urge to say exactly what she thinks of this shitty insult to libraries everywhere.

"And the librarians tend to be a bit more helpful," she adds.
