Materializing her rapier, Umi attacks the ponytailed monk, having pegged him as the strongest opponent from what she'd seen while getting to Hikaru's aid.

[Ebiris]

Seeing Otoshi approaching, Fuu decides to make her getaway before he realises his tent has been ransacked and his... companion, isn't actually sleeping.

Slipping around to the other side of the tent, so it lies between her and Otoshi, she gestures Koshi to follow then makes her way to the next tent. Once away from the Champion's tent. she returns back the way she entered the camp, using the tents for cover and keeping low and to the shadows.

[Halbarad]

Hikaru gestures towards the tree nearest the long-haired monk, and as she mutters the words of an incantation the trunk explodes in a cloud of splinters.

[Carthrat]

The splinters barely scratch the monk, as he zips past the Samurai and rushes at Hikaru..

..just in timed to be intercepted by Umi's rapier. He quickly rediverted his attack into a straight punch to the womans midsection.

The monks and samurai are still fighting, but with Umi's reinforcements, that battle is decided already.

Grimacing, but not letting the pain distract her, Umi shows the monk her true skills with the rapier.

[Halbarad]

Hikaru draws three more shuriken from her obi, stepping to the side to get a clear shot at the monk. She aims carefully, then lets the projectiles fly once again.

[Carthrat]

Two of the shuriken smack into the ponytailed monk, who is breathing quite heavily now. With Umi's prompt stab, he backs off, bleeding quite a bit.

"You'll never make it back to town alive, *elf*," he snarls, before rushing off into the woods.

Meanwhile, the Samurai are finished dealing with the monks, who fall to the ground.. and vanish into mist.

The downed Samurai aren't dead, just unconcious.

Fuu hasn't gotten far from Otoshis tent when a cry of rage is heard, and she can hear the man screaming, "Spies! Spies in the camp! Kill them!"

She's about halfway from the champions tent to the edge of the camp..

Grimacing, Fuu decides to take the most direct route to the perimeter of the camp, keeping to the shadows and using any available cover as she does so.

[Carthrat]

"There she is!" comes a shout. Fuu feels a wash of magical energy going through her.. and dissapating, apparently to know effect. In the corner of her eye, she can see that there's a man pointing a slender stick at her, along with a buddy, also pointing a stick-

A blast of energy impacts soon after the earlier spell, but it's pretty weak. Fuu barely registers it.

[Corwin]

"Hikaru, create a diversion!" Umi tells her friend, hearing the cries from the camp. "Then, don't stick around and retreat to our previous camp."

Having said that, she glances at one of the remaining samurai, telling him, "We can't let him get away!" and dashes off after the head monk.

[Ebiris]

Seeing that the game is most definitely up, Fuu casts Obscuring Mist to cover her getaway before she dashes for the perimeter of the camp.

[Halbarad]

Hikaru turns to the remaining samurai. "You two, take care of the fallen. Try and get them back to our camp if you can." She turns to the third of the group. "Stay with me, I'm just going to create a distraction and then we're getting out of here."

Hikaru turns to the near edge of the forest and casts Fiery Eyes. A moment later, two beams shoot from her eyes, and she focuses them on the trees at the edge of the forest in an attempt to set them ablaze.

[Carthrat]

As Hikaru casts her spell, she sees a mist pop up within the camp.

Her diversion attracts a slight amount of attention from guards, who rush over to investigate.

Fuu is safely ensconced in her mist and manages to make it to the ditch, coming face-to-face with a fully-armed Samurai warrior, sword drawn and pointing at her!

Umi barely manages to keep sight of the monk as he rushes away, and he's slowly drawing away..

[Ebiris]

As she nears the Samurai, Fuu casts command, saying "Surrender," to the battle ready warrior.

[Halbarad]

"Come on, let's get out of here!" Hikaru motions to the samurai remaining with her, and the two quickly head back to the elves' camp further inside the forest.
