Captured! Revelations of the Mysterious Tomb..

"Seems like I need magical boots -- any kind of magical boots -- to get the ones I want," she says, sighing. "Would you happen to have a cheap pair, or know of another place that sells any?"

[Carthrat]

The Masked Mage produces a pair of boots.

"These are magical," he says. "They help you jump. I'll sell them to you for 1600gp."

[Halbarad]

Hikaru staggers as she is pulled roughly to her feet. Still blinking as she tries to shake off her headache, she stumbles after the Matsu bushi.

[Carthrat]

Outside, the Matsu camp is all packed up, and the army is on the march. "Get moving!" somebody says, and Hikaru finds herself being shoved forward after the army..

[Corwin]

"Might as well try them," Umi replies, nodding. "Come to think of it, would you have something that would make me a bit faster if I wear it? That could've made a difference in the past few battles I was in."

[Carthrat]

"Fleet of foot or quick of hand?" replies the Mage.

[Halbarad]

Hikaru almost trips as she's shoved forward; still walking, she casts a glare back at the bushi who's behind her.

[Corwin]

"Quick of hand," Umi replies after thinking for a couple of minutes.

[Carthrat]

"I have a belt that might do that," he says. "4200, though. Dosn't come cheap."

[Corwin]

"I think I have enough," Umi says, taking it out and counting off 5800 gold, settled in stacks, a hundred coins in each.

[Carthrat]

The Mage Nods. "A pleasure doing business with you," he says, handing over the items in question.

[Corwin]

Umi nods herself. "A pleasure, yes. Would you be so kind to tell me when you'll be here next, so I could place my order?"

[Carthrat]

"I don't know if I'll be here again," he says, shrugging. "It's getting dangerous for one of my profession."

[Corwin]

Umi snorts. "We'll protect the capital, and those in it. And now, I must be off. Thanks for the help, again."

Nodding at the mage, she heads back to the house where she could try to get those boots for Fuu.

A short while later, Umi walks out, a new pair of boots in hand..
