Umi nods. "While we wait, Okina-san, could the shugenja who examined the items we brought back tell us what they do? If they've finished by now, of course."

[Carthrat]

"Certainly," replies Okina, as the Shugenja present approaches to tell you what your items are..

"Some of those would prove useful," Umi comments, before asking the shugenja, "How much do we owe you for the trouble?"

"Four hundred," replies the Shugenja.

[Corwin]

Umi searches her pockets, producing half of the amount, before turning to Fuu. "Think you have 200 gold on you?"

[Ebiris]

"I believe so," Fuu says, before fumbling around in her coin bag. A moment later, she hands over her share to the Shugenja.

"So, what shall we do with these items? I don't believe any of us are trained in the use of spiked chain as a weapon, though that rapier would prove useful to you, Umi. Personally, I would like the ring of invisibility, since I had to use my last invisibility potion at the Matsu camp, and this would save me having to buy more."

[Corwin]

Umi nods. "Fine by me. I guess the extra ring will go to me, and I'm sure Hikaru would love the scrolls we got her." She thinks for a moment. "Unless Hikaru would like to learn how to use this chain, I have a place I could sell it at, to get us something more suitable to use." Glancing at Okina, she adds, "Unless you are in need of any of these items, Okina-san?"

"I don't think anyone around here knows the use of such an exotic weapon," replies Okina. "Unless Ukyo has some talents he hasn't mentioned, which I doubt. No, do as you will."

[Halbarad]

Hikaru shakes her head. "I don't want it, thank you all the same. The only thing I really need at the moment is a spellbook, if there's one available, Okina-san."

[Carthrat]

Okina shrugs. "I'll see what I can find, but don't hold your breath," he replies.

[Halbarad]

Hikaru nods. "If that's all, I'm going to go get some rest."

[Carthrat]

"Of course," replies Okina, giving Hikaru directions to a room..

Hikaru nods and heads off to recover from her ordeal, giving her two friends a nod and a tired smile as she departs.

Umi waves at Hikaru, before asking Okina, "Was there something you wanted Fuu or I to do before Hikaru was ready for travel, Okina-san?"
