Asrana's expression flickered for a moment, her eyes glinting with a hard light for an instant, "I'll deal with them as I need to...my only worry is Kei..."

Her eyes darkened and narrowed dangerously, a predatory gleam entering them. She looked downright deadly and yet beautiful, like a leopard. "I'm going to release him from draconian service...and anyone else that wants to. What happens afterwards...well, we'll just see."

Asrana nodded, the gleam leaving her eyes. "For some, yes. Calen and Nabiki...I wouldn't mind them knowing..." She pursed her lips, "Mike and Kei...I'll handle them..."

She looked back up at him for a moment before gently kissing him, she spoke almost before she pulled away, "Did you really mean it back in the council room?"

He blinked as Asrana spoke again, and smiled. He paused for a long moment, then leaned his forehead down, touching hers.

Asrana giggled, "That's what my first boyfriend said...and this is definitely not a dream..."

"So...I'm going to go catch up with my cousins...see you in a few hours..." She kissed him a last time and walked out of the grove, spreading her wings as soon as she was clear.

Wraith's first instinct was to follow her. It was the bodyguard in him, however, the word cousins still evoked a tense wariness in him that he couldn't explain.

He sighed, and moved through the trees, headed for town. It was time to find pink roses. He quickly located a florist and stepped inside. He fervently hoped that not EVERYONE in this little city knew him on sight...

The man behind the counter smiled. He was youngish, in his early thirties opr late twenties, and seemed well suited to the flower scented shop. The walls were lined with various flowers, wrapped or in ceramic pots. Low shelves consumed much oif the rest of the space and offered and even more dizzying array of flowers then the walls.

"Good day, are you looking for any particular plant or just browsing?" His voice was a tad high pitched but not squeaky, with an almost musical tone to it.

Wraith looked up. He was immensely pleased that he didn't seem to be big news all over the city. However, the pleasure was short lived, as he was confronted with yet another topic he knew nothing about.

"Um, I'm looking for pink roses, actually," he began tentaitively. Suddenly, a thought struck him. "And, also, a single blue flower."

The man smiled, "Courting a member of the royal family are we? No worries, I always keep pink roses in stock. As for a blue flower..." He walked amongst the shelves, lowering his face to some flowers and barely glancing at others as he inspected.

"Well...hmm..." He peered at Wraith for a moment and then smiled, "I have just the flowers...if you'll wait here a moment?"

Without waiting for a reply, he walked into the back, humming as he went.

He dug idly in his money pouch. he still had about a fair bit of money from before he was hired by the Dragon clan.

The florist rummaged in the back of his shop, occassionally mmurmuring to himself before he came back out.

In his hands was a well proportioned bouquet, just barely small enough to comfortably hold in one hand behind your back. The roses themselves were a sakura petal pink, all just blooming. But the most drawing was the single blue flower nestled in the middle of the bouquet, a deep royal blue that looked velvety soft. Impossibly enough...it looked like a blue rose.

He grinned reassuringly, "Will this do?"
