I have a dream that one day, men will be punched in the face not for the color of their skin, but for the awful content of their character.

Bean Bandit

Wraith smiled, blushing a little as he marveled at how soft her hands were.

"Is this the capitol? It seems central for the armies, and it's the biggest city I've seen yet..."

Asrana

Asrana smiled as she pulled Wraith through the crowd towards the citadel, "Not for the nation...Cebos is the Jade Clan capital...so it deals with a lot of interplanar merchants."

Bean Bandit

Wraith looked down at his chainmail, visible under his fluttering cloak.
"So that's why they all seem to know me, then, I guess? It's the uniform..."

Asrana

Asrana nodded, "Yep...this is the home city of the Jade Assassins' Guild..."

She idly waved to a lone assassin, her hand flickering in a number of complicated gestures. "I should probably get you a Dragon Clan pin...just to show you're mine." She blushed and giggled a little mischeviously, her eyes glinting softly.

Wraith smiled. "You don't need a pin for that," he assured her softly. "I think I've been yours since we first met...Oh man, I'm getting sappy. Sorry." he blushed.

"Heh...a pin? Are you proposing?" he asked, teasingly.

Asrana

Asrana blushed and looked at him curiously, "Just making sure the rest of society knows you're mine, anata..."

She smiled, "And thank you..." She briefly kissed him, drawing chuckles from a pair of Dragon Guild soldiers that were inspecting a blade from a traveling merchant.

Wraith smiled again.  "Well whatever..." he trailed off as she kissed him. After the separated, he smiled dazedly. "Thank YOU." he murmured quietly.

Asrana

Asrana giggled, her eyes roaming the market like a panther's as they passed through the final stretch of it and into the district favored by the Dragon and Jade Clans for houses.

Many of them nodded respectfully as they recognized the princess, smiling to Wraith.

Wraith fidgeted slightly, returning the smiles akwardly.
"How can you stand so mant people watching you all the time?" he whispered to her.

Asrana

Asrana smiled as they approached the citadel gates and purred into his ear, "I grew up with the eyes of my family on me...as long as I know it's them I'm fine..."

She signaled the gate guard with a single flick of her wrist and walked through, almost visibly relaxing as she entered her home.

Wraith followed, looking carefully around. He hadn't taken the time to do so yet, and casually admired Asrana's home, and anaylzed it at the same time, his eyes going slightly unfocused...

The grounds were carefully maintained to look like they were not. Groves of trees were common, composed of sakura, oak, and even the occasional pine or maple.

Asrana strolled down a well worn path, her soft boots completely silent on the hard earth.

She slipped into a particularly large grove, pushing through bushes and onto the beginning of a sun dappled trail.

The trail isolated them from the rest of the compound, not revealing any of the black stone buildings through the thick canopy. Asrana sighed contentedly, her face and body calm.

Wraith smiled, his gaze turned upward, watching the snatches of sky through the overhanging branches. "You must come out here a lot," he commented, flashing her a quick smile.

Asrana

Asrana returned the expression, her eyes affectionate, "Yeah...though I spend more time in the family wood on the other side of the East Wing...much larger and you can't see the buildings from the clearings..."

She came to the end of the trail and pushed a few bushes out of the way, coming out only yards from the door to the East Wing just below her quarters.

Wraith blinked in mild surprise, looking up at the building, an suddenly recognizing the surroundings.

"Oh. Hmm...I'll have to go out there," he responded, following her.
