I've gotten into the complete database, and am now severing all links between the Vatican and myself.  I suspect it's a trap, and don't want to tempt fate any longer.

One of the groups (I suspect it is the Seventh Cabal, though I am not entirely certain) has made a move on your friend Bjorn Christianson.  He is being taken to a facility in San Francisco.  I am uncertain of what they do there, but it frightens me.  I dreamed that a great blackness welled out of the ground in that place.

Your friend is in great danger, and I know this with absolute certainty.  I am trying to get into the databases of the facility itself, but it is much more secure than the Vatican's network, and I am making only slow progress.  I don't know what to do.

I've never felt so helpless.

Any new data would be appreciated.  From what I can see, the organization calls itself 'The Workshop'.  I believe they are a front for the Seventh Cabal.  I have managed to trace their location to San Francisco, as I said earlier, but their security is difficult.

It will take me some amount of time to compomise them.  According to the city records, however, I do know exactly where the physical location of the equipment housing their IP addresses is:

I'll try to join you as soon as I can, but right now the best I can do is warn that there is a force or forces connected with Australia, Japan, Rome and San Franciso that want one of you, dead or otherwise. A road trip in this weather?  Get serious!  'course, I've got family in Florida, so I do know exactly what you mean about bugs.  Even in winter, the air is thick with 'em.  Here in Montana, it's too snowbound to get anywhere, though.

A good washing will get rid of the bugs, but really, if you live in a place like that, you just keep picking them up. :( :( :(

On an unrelated note, don't spread the word around too much (SSH!) but I figured out a great place to pick up original mufflers, if you don't like those knockoffs they're selling now.

Have you ever done a hardware installation before?

An installation like that's going to require two things to work, and one of them is the materials.  Once you order it, you just gotta get it out of the box, and set it up.  It's mostly straightforward.  The hard part is just finding the stuff you need.
