Carthrat

Name: Carthrat Kanzaki
Age: In this particular RPG, 35.
Height: 6"5
Weight: 102kg
Hair: Black, cut back to neck.
Eyes: Diamond blue.

General Info: At 35 years old, Carthrat has... changed somewhat.

Disillusioned with life after seeing so much of it pointlessly wasted, he no longer make any attempt to save it unless he is forced to, or he has a special intrest in what's happening. His personality, while still arrogant, is less brash than it once was, perfering to let the 'idiots' argue amongst themselves while he goes out and does whatever needs doing.

He seems to lament his past life at some points, wishing he'd acted wiser than he had. As such, he's far less foolhardy than he once was, though if he's curious enough, he still can't stop himself from running in.

Basically, he's wised up and gotten more mature. He's still perhaps the worlds most brilliant combat-orientated scientist, but his abilities have slid downard somewhat.

D&D stats when he was 25: STR: 20, DEX: 12, CON: 16, INT: 24, WIS: 6, CHA: 12

35: STR: 18, DEX: 12, CON: 17, INT: 22, WIS: 13, CHA: 13

Abilities/Items.

The N-Space cloak- Perhaps the only magical item Carthrat went out of his way to obtain, (he went and murdered a slightly possessive mage to get it), it allows him to hide virtually anything within it's folds, inlcuding his rather bulky wings.

The Crystilline wings- Obtained after a freakish accident in another world involving a miscast Polymorph Phoenix spell, Carthrat is now stuck with a pair of working, virtually indestructable wings. He usually hides them behind his cloak. They are also sharp and pointy- a melee weapon in a pinch.

Has this nasty habit of decapitating people by accident when not behind the cloak.

Tanewaki Yuki: Any insult against Carthrat's former wife will result in the insultants quick and assured destruction. Period.

Scientific creations: Railgun, Freeze chamber, Protonic Mass Singularity Imploder.. if it runs off a scientific prinicpal, Carthrat can build it. As it is, he currently holds a Multitool, Railgun and several Railcharges, and a host of other Gizmo's which will 'come in handy' someday.

Weapons: Dual Mac-10's - Small and powerful, 'specially with the "Special Ammuntion"

Dual .45s: Ditto.

Seemingly limitless supply of grenades: Frag, flash, smoke, smell...

Carthrat

Gizmo Update! I'm taking care not to make these particularly powerful.

Strober: It looks like a neuraliser. It has the same controls as a neuraliser, with one difference- it dosn't make you forget your memory. The light it shine, however, can blind an ordinary person for a good while.

Tazering: A high-powered cattle-prod miniturised and stuffed inside a somewhat girly looking ring. Useful for giving to an unwanted girlfriend?

Scanbox: A somewhat chunky mobile phone which is roughly twice as big as most modern mobiles. This is needed, though, to store certain sensors within it.

Only recently designed, the Scanbox has very little data in it, and Carthrat has not had time to update it. As such, it can provide limited information on threats he might encounter. However, it's powerful sensors analyse combats, power emissions and anything which may be of use, eventually producing a response. Unfortunately, by the time it does, 'Rat has probably either been killed by the problem, or found some other way around it.

Chakram Cap: With it's razor tip and perfectly balanced interior, (not to mention the small electric charge), this Cap can act like Xena's funky weapon with an added buzz.

Unfortunately, 'Rat was never too good a discus...

Grenade Types

Frag Grenade: Your typical military issue grenade.

Flashbang: Carthrat's slight modification to the Flashbang makes it not only flash, but quite literally bang as well. The loud noise emenating from the grenade tends to deafen people for a few seconds.

Gasbomb: The gasbomb releases chemical agents which turn surrounding oxygen particles into carbon dioxide, making breathing that much harder. A few variations contain sleeping gas and Sarin gas.

EMP: Disables electrical equipment in the area of effect that is turned on. Is also known to have various side effects on things it hits, though the results usually disable, not kill.

Increases the chance of contracting cancer by a great deal.

Napalm: Easily made from household substances, Napalm is nonetheless an effective weapon.

Blastbomb: Big enough to take down a small building.

X-Bomb: Carthrat's not too sure what this bomb does. He made it by accident from the remains of his lunch falling into a vat of experimental chemicals. He has no idea what will happen when he throws it.

Probability Bomb: This bomb has a random chance of killing whatever it is thrown at. It's effect cannot be described using English.
