Ginrai and I are going to Katsucon next weekend.  As should be frightfully obvious, we won't be around for those games that need us.  Here's the advance warning to both gamers and GMs alike.

Katsucon Staff: Rawr, we suck monkey balls!  Oh, and we give you stuff at registeration that prevents you from going into the dealers room right away.  Aren't we clever?
AMVs: Wow, we are Teh Suck!  And isn't having 200 effects per amv cool?!
Fido: Hey guys, I'm pretty darn cool to hang out with.
Wong: Wow, I'm remarkably resiliant to getting punched in the face several times.  I also have been in fanfiction for over a decade.
Cosplay: Well, we're cool!  We actually have good skits!
Katsucon Staff: Yep, so we're going to put you guys who are in the middle of the line waaaay down in the back so you can't see any of it.  Isn't this a nice reward for seeing the music videos awards?
Fanfic Dinner at Chilis: Good Eatin'.
AMVs that didn't make it: We're going to reserve a three hour time block for two amvs!
Dracos: So, AMV party at my place?
Big O: "Buy me and use me as a doorstop."
Dracos: "Okay Big O!"
Fanfic Panel: Okay, Gin's late and the door is locked.  So I'll just head up to ops and see what's going on.
Katsucon Ops: Hey, we don't care about you.  We'll send someone down in twenty minutes to open the door, then shove you out so some guy with no audience can have his panel.
Dracos: Why exactly do we put up with this?
Fanfic Panel Audience: Mary Sues and flamers, how do you handle?
Fido: Insight!
Dracos: Insight, Site Whoring, and commentary from both sides of issue!
Ginrai: "..."
Rob: Insight, Fans are crazy, and did I mention I'm working on Hana Road, a new manga?
Katsucon Staff: So you have an avid audience and about a half packed room.  We need to throw you out.
Dracos: Coolies.
Fido's Sister: So I can't find Fido.  But I'm pretty cool to chat with too.  I'll go look again.
Fido: Hey, found you Dracos.  More AMV goodness?
Dracos: Rock on!
Gin: I need money.  MONEY!
Dracos: But, emergency funds...
Gin: MONEY!
Dracos: You owe me your soul.
Closing Ceremonies: We suck.
Dracos: Let's go.
Rest of group: Meh..uh..meh...Okay.

Wow...  Otakon was nothing like that! What a non-stop thrill ride of adventure!

Maybe I'll go to Katsucon next year.  If my brother pays me back for last time.

You call that a con report, Dracos?  I expect (by volume) ALL of that content to be hidden in about 85 extra K of you whining about your significant other, your kid, the weather, your payments on your car....

What is this, "Cutting To The Chase" nonsense?  We have STANDARDS, people.  STANDARDS set forth to us whereby we use a Con Report as a thinly veiled attempt at blogging onto the FFML, or just attention-whoring all over the RAAC.
