Up side: That one girl at Family Mart asked where I was from.
Down side: I momentary forgot that people outside the US hear "Portland" and think "Poland".
Up side: This entire exchange occured while I was holding the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy DVD, and I'm quite certain of the current location and status of my towel.

My day went a little something like this...

Wake up. Find out I have a term paper due this evening that I forgot to do over the weekend. Freak out.

Go to first class. SIt in the back and slip into Seed Mode to to get through the text the paper is on. 1/3rd through.

Go to class immediately following chem. Calc. Joy.-_-

However! Already did presentation yesterday for calc so no actual work from my end!

Rush home after calc. Get home. It is now 12:45.

Fix large Panda Cheesy-Omelet-Special of the year!

The time is now 1:45! >_< Took too long. >_>

Crunch time. Seed Mode read through the rest of the text and finish about 3:00. Thank you Robert Jordan. Getting through the slow points in your books has helped me greatly.

Do the paper. There is nothing special about writing a five page term paper in less than two hours. I've done twice the length in half the time before. :/

Time is about 5:00. Grab the printer from downstairs, hook it up, and OMFG WHY WON'T YOU PRINT?!?!!1111one!

Hit the 'net. Find the drivers. Download the drivers. Configure. Oh crap, no paper?!

Find one properly sized sheet of paper, fold several fax pages and tear them down to the right size. Print. Time is 5:14. RUN out of the house and DRIVE to school. Get to school. Can't find a parking spot. Park illegally. Run to class. Class starts at 5:30. I somehow manage to get in before 5:45. The teacher usually talks for 30 minutes before doing anything.

SAFE!

Also, got my test back that I thought I bombed. Managed a 79%. Not bad at all.

I went to the first showing of Kong.

It rocks. It really, really does. Its three hours long, but it feels like less than half of that. This is the superior version of the Kong concept.

You must all go watch it. Now.
