I debated about bothering to do this one since it's from 1991, but it can still be downloaded. And we don't have anything under 'W' yet. So here we go.
It's a total of one 50 min OVA. It's based on the first Wizardry video game, and as such has a cookie cutter plot filled with stereotypical characters in the standard roles of a dungeon crawl. They even have subtitles which explain the effects of each spell that's cast by the characters.
This thing has nothing going for it, and the artwork is terribly dated. I recommend avoiding it, unless you have a thing for the video game.
A mere 3 out of 10. It's not lower because it's not so much awful as it's just sort of there.

Heh. I never did play any of the Wizardry series, but I know that there were quite a few people who did have a "thing" for it.
I was much more involved with Ultima (and I've read somewhere that they did an anime series of that too, but I've never seen any sign of it).
