Title: Windows 8 reverses course?

I'm tossing this out here since I can't think of anywhere else it fits. It looks like Windows may be taking a New Coke on Windows 8. To say I'm surprised is an understatement, since this is going to be a big step back for Microsoft. Any thoughts?
