Thus Moore is followed by the Grand Sultan and his entourage, as well as Moore's own companions. As you walk out, "You keep appearing in these matters," the Grand Sultan says, "You must have some investment in such affairs, Moore."
"It's all connected in some way, Grand Sultan." Moore confirms.
A pause as he thinks. "And I do have an investment — to see the light of hope everywhere. Even you know, deep down, what all of this could lead to. I do not know you or presume to understand your burden... but you must see through all of this and make a hard choice that will give your people hope."
With a long, simmering look, "The efreet have hope," he says, "We have had hope and power since the Crimson Firebrand united us. Our hope is not the same hope you want - it cannot be, for it is not the way for us."
"For a people so united, you have more enemies closer than I would think." A shake of his head. "You have the power to create a bright, fiery future for yourself and the people who follow you; the other path will lead to a dark and dim cave. I only hope you can understand that."
There's no more words as you head out, a simple march past the borders of Hope's Landing. The Sultan gives you a neutral look and then is gone, his elementals with him.
Moore lets out a breath.
"I think I said too much to him, but..." He shakes his head. "I hope my words reached him."
"Miracles can happen," Cresiel says, "We'll see to this. You're to return to Barachiel."
Kaja smiles grimly, "His stance says it all, but we have to do better than swapping one evil on that throne for another."
Moore nods, and returns inside to Seira and Barachiel!
I'll move you over to that thread momentarily.
