The rest of Ami's day goes well enough. Arriving home slightly late, an early bedtime occurs.
And for once, a restful sleep. Waking in the morning and rising, you find your faithful Mau eating a bit of fish and milk in cat form at the table. "Morning, Ami," he smiles. "Your Mom's back at work today, so it's just the two of us."
Ami smiles and pauses to scratch Artemis behind the ears. "Good morning." she replies warmly, still a bit sleepy, but in a far better mood. She pads over to the fridge, withdrawing a bottle of Coke, and turns back to Artemis. "Is everything still congested with the weather?" she asks, pouring herself a glassful.
"Yeah," he nods, enjoying the ear attention dutifully. "They're transporting police officers, hospital workers and the like around in public transportation, but the rest is still a no go."
Waiting for you to come back and turning away from your meal, "That means you're probably stuck here for the day again, since school is closed."
Ami smiles ruefully. "Well, the Professor wants me to relax as much as possible anyway, so I'd be at loose ends no matter where I was."
Drinking her soda delicately, but with purpose, Ami sits down at the table with a sigh, then glancing curiously at Artemis. "What will you be doing today?" she asks, almost hopefully.
"Not very much at all," Artemis smiles, "Luna and I have discussed what happened with Usagi, so beyond that? It's just killing time until things pick up again. It's just me, you and the TV."
Ami giggles. "Well, at least I have good company." she smiles. "I can't remember the last time I just sat down to watch TV."
"I don't even do it much and I have more free time. It's a lot better when you do it with someone else," he agrees, going back to his breakfast.
"Even if it's just half blizzard aftermath reports and half bad daytime TV."
"And a quilt, and a mug of hot chocolate..." Ami smiles, a little dreamily. "Sounds like fun." she smiles softly.
"Yep," Artemis agrees.
A few hours later....yep, the morning news followed by the glop mixture of kiddy shows, talk shows and woman geared programs for mothers isn't terribly interesting. Besides seeing Artemis blush at a tampon commercial, it's perfectly boring and dull.
"Not a thing on," Artemis sighs. Two blanks on the couch, each of you using one, the cat now human. "Think I'll go to the bathroom and get us a snack," he offers, rising. "Want anything in particular?"
Ami snuggles a little deeper under her quilt, looking up with a small smile. "Maybe some marshmallows?" she asks, her cheeks a little flushed as she tries not to watch Artemis leave the room.
My, it's warm down here. So nice and easy to drowse, too.
"Sure, Ami-chan," he smiles, mood good as he stretches, going to do just that. If there's one good thing about this human form, it's the fact that cat boxes aren't an issue anymore. Whew.
Even that, though....mmm. You could just doze right on off if you wanted. Half lying back with a heavy, warm quilt, it's the nicest thing in the world.
I think I always knew his human form was cute, but Luna... Ami thinks drowsily. I wonder what...
With half finished thoughts bubbling in her sleepy mind, Ami lets her eyes close, the warmth pushing her down into a light doze...
Ah, so warm. A bevy of dream images fly about, instantly forgotten, when...
"Ami-chan!" Blinking at the slghtest flash of something - probably the TV with a guady commercial -, you hear Tellu's voice. Blinking, you see the girl smiling, standing above you and wearing a pretty black and green long sleeved outfit.
Ami blinks, struggling to sit up. "Tellu-chan?" she asks, smiling quizzically, but warmly. "What brings you over?" she asks, beginning to tug off her quilt and blushing a little. "I was just relaxing and I fell asleep...Did Artemis let you in?"
"He did," she smiles, sitting next to you. "He went out to help my transportation get home," Tellu explains, then grins. "I came over for something I forgot yesterday, Ami-chan."
Ami blinks, tilting her head to the side. "Something you forgot?" She wonders.
"Yes," she says, leaning with a different smile now. "I forgot to give you this..."
With a dart, you find her face in yours as she leans her body against you, kissing passionately. Arms wrap around your body, working under your bond with the couch....
Ami freezes, her mind threatening to lock up as Tellu kisses her, but her body has no such limitation, and she finds herself yielding to the kiss, shivering as her hands find Tellu's waist and a deep, pleasant warmth begins unfolding in her chest, sending tingles washing over her...
When her mind caught up. Tellu...? Dream...? Not right...?
Your body reports one thing amid the storm of sensations...your wrist...cold...
"Oh, Ami," Tellu murmurs, "You're just amazing...just let me help you, okay?" With that, her hands work downward, pushing aside the blanket...
My wrist...is cold...that's....that's not right, is it? Ami thinks dreamily. Tellu's hands...lips...soft... She argues with herself. But...not right...something is wrong...wrist is cold...
Like a bolt of thunder, a single thought pierces the haze. Tellu doesn't feel that way about girls!
Ami weakly reaches for Tellu's wrists. "Tellu-chan...don't...You don't..." she gasps out weakly, trying to muster her self awareness again...
Tellu pauses momentarily, looking at your icy wrists and hands. "But....Ami-chan..." she says softly, looking right at your eyes. "I love you." Her voice is desperate, needy as she meets her green-blue tinted eyes with yours.
Ami shudders, a deep, aching longing forming in her chest at the words. No...no, this can't be real.
"T-Tellu-chan..." she gasps, stunned. "I..."
This is wrong...something's wrong with her...or...is this another dream? It's not fair that I can only hear this when I'm asleep... She swallows hard. "...You don't feel this way about girls, Tellu." she replies in a shaky voice. "...I...I think you're beautiful, but remember Mako-chan's birthday party, when you found out about Usagi and Rei?"
Biting cold sears your wrist, as Tellu seems to blink a moment. "But...I love you, Ami-chan," she says, eyes starting to show hurt. "I don't care if you're a girl, you're...who I love..." she finishes, her blueish tinted eyes showing tears.
Ami shivers, the cold from her wrist, weakening her resolve. Why is my wrist cold? she wonders dazedly.
"Tellu-chan...what happened to your eyes?" she asks softly, her arms loosening.
My wrist is cold...Tellu's eyes... Ami struggles to push past the her emotional response to Tellu, glancing down at her wrist.
Your wrist is paler than usual, your Talisman there and almost burning with icy radiance. So...so...cold....
"Ami-chan..." Tellu murmurs, rising as you stare. A few flicks of her wrist and a bit of shrugging..."Please...take me," she whispers, now nude and having her arms spread out, her entire body open to you. "I...I love you. I'm yours."
Ami blinks, her eyes opening wide. Something's not right! Shivering harder now, the cold from her wrist making her almost tremble, despite the heat of being aroused, Ami reaches for her subspace pocket. Where...Where is my computer...?
"Tellu-chan...you're not yourself...let me help you..."
Fumbling for it, hands shaking due to nervousness on so many levels, sweat beading your forehead despite your deep cold.
"I just want you, Ami," she sniffles, coming within touching distance. "I care about you so much, and I don't want to be alone anymore."
Fumbling even more...you finally grasp your computer, your hand coming out with it a mere hair away from Tellu's body. Her hand grabs your wrist, her blushie/green eyes shimmering. "Ami-chan..."
Ami shivers, Tellu's words making her heart ache and she reaches out to Tellu gently. "You'll never be alone if you don't want to be, Tellu-chan...I promise." she whispers, pulling the other girl close in a hug. With a long practiced motion, Ami flips open the Mercury computer with one hand, stabbing at buttons to start any sensors while she comforts Tellu...
Your computer works as you hug Tellu, the unrobed girl returning it with both her body and a fiery, hungry kiss, darting in to take it. Gently pushing your computer hand aside, she presses against you, sending your blood racing.
Ami almost melts, heat bursting from her body, and making her breasts tingle as the heat drops lower and lower, pooling in her abdomen, making her shudder. "T-Tellu..." she shudders, "You don't have to..."
Her hand forces the computer down and away from you, while, "Hush, Ami-chan..." she says, before plunging forward to kiss you again.
OOC - Soul check +1. Not for what you may think, either.
* Hatbot --> "Mistress_Ami rolls 2d6+1 for mysterious DOOM! and gets 9."
Pleasure works through your body, even as you feel a great sleepy, lightheadness join it. Almost detached from your body, in a way...so...so...
Odd. As if raising your body up is too much work, you find yourself falling back to the couch...
Ami struggles against the lethargy, but fails, the distance pulling her back into the couch, her eyes closing as drowsiness overtakes her...
Ami hovers there, just awake enough to feel both a draining feeling and Tellu's ministrations. She gently removes your pants and panties, putting her mouth down there...oh God....
Even as it heats up, everything but that becomes more vague, less real. There is one strand of energy buildiing as you erupt in a wave of red, your mouth screaming if if can as you unconciousness takes you.
Only a few words are heard as you do, a girlish giggle. "Come by the greenhouse tomorrow, Ami-chan, and we'll have more fun! I'll be waiting for you!"
---
Muh. "Hey, Ami-chan!" Artemis calls, "Wake up already! It's nearly dinnertime!" Piercing your fog of unawareness and remembered shards of fading pleasure, you somehow open your eyes. You manage to see Artemis, though...damn...waking up...is...woah. Sleepy. Cold, too, shivering a moment as your awareness returns.
Ami blearily looks up at Artemis, shivering a little more, her eyes fixing in her Mau sluggishly. "Mm....wha?" Ami mumbles, yawning.
"It's time for dinner," he reaches down, shaking you lightly. You feel...damn tired, despite the shivers. Like you just want to curl back up and go to sleep, really.
Ami shakes her head weakly. "Not hungry...sleep more..." she protests wearily, yawning.
"Alright," Artemis shrugs, "I'll put a plate in the fridge for you." With that, he leaves you to sleep, which comes almost automatically.
Yet, something tickles your mind, a remembered thing as you stir. "Come by the greenhouse tomorrow, Ami-chan! We'll have a good time!"...
Ami blinks as she claws her way back to consciousness, Tellu's voice echoing in her mind. "What...another dream?" she croaks softly, "Come to the greenhouse?"
Slowly, she looks up, trying to get her bearings.
The words dance in your mind as you fuzzily look around the living room. A heavy quilt is over you, a feeling of drying wetness under your clothes focused in one area.
Beyond that, there isn't much out of the ordinary except for your tiredness.
Ami pushes at the quilt, blushing at the disturbingly familiar damp feeling between her legs. Climbing out from under the quilt, she half staggers, half sneaks off to the bathroom...
You catch Artemis in the corner of your eye as you head to the bathroom in a daze. You see him holding one of those plastic cooking pans, a premade lasange being served. It registers only minimally, however.
On reaching the bathroom, you find you are able to do any absolutions you wish without incident.
OOC - Go from there, Ami.
Having finished cleaning herself off, feeling much better though still a touch weary, Ami wraps a towel around her chest and another around her hair as she gathers the slightly rank, musky clothing in her arms, and ashamedly slinking into her bedroom to put them into the hamper.
Since Artemis is the only person in the house and he's eating dinner, this goes without interruption or interference. Heading to you room, you find a langour spreading deeper, a notable desire to sleep, sleep, sleep.
It's as if you've been up for 20 hours straight instead of asleep for 8.
Ami sighs, looking at her bed, and sitting down on it and taking off the towel on her hair and drying the longish blue stands carefully, but as quickly as her sluggish body will allow, and pulls out a nightgown. Too tired to even get Pajamas...
Once done, she lets the towel drop, and slithers into the big flannel nightie, flopping down on her bed. Feels so good...
Doesn't it?
Doesn't it?
Does...n't....it?
Soft snoring follows, as Ami quickly passes into an exhaused slumber. This dreamscape is far quieter, though images of a green haired girl with the strangest tint of blue in her eyes haunt you.
"Visit tomorrow..." echos in your mind, "We'll have more fun...."
---
When conciousness finally returns to you, it comes with a rush to the bathroom for your delayed business, followed by a groggy check of your alarm clock on return. Just a hair before six in the morning.
As you do you, you find you do feel considerably better, rested and...mmmm. What's that? The smell of coffee from the kitchen, strong and enticing?
Ami rubs her eyes and smiles a little dazedly at the aroma from the kitchen. It's a pleasant distraction from the strange dreams. Smiling a little sleepily and trying to put the dreams out of her mind, she pads into the kitchen, the aroma tugging her awake...
Staggering half awake but fully clothed into the kitchen, you find your mother and Artemis sitting there, throwing off the morning demons with what is truly a divine drink.
At least in your eyes. "Morning..." Sakura yawns, clad in her light water blue bathrobe and sipping awake at her steaming mug of coffee. "Didn't even see you last night...went to bed early?"
Ami nods, yawning and smiling back. "Mmmhmm...Don't remember when. I was really tired..." she admits. She makes her way over to the coffee maker, rooting around for a mug.
Finding one - a cute white one, with a black cat printed on it - and pouring yourself a cup of merciful, heavenly coffee, you come to sit with the others. "You fell asleep before lunch, Ami-chan," Artemis notes, suppressing his own yawn. "You missed a phone call, by the way."
"I did?" Ami blinks, a little distubed by that. That can't be...why? I wasn't... Shaking her head as she nurses her coffee, she looks up curiously. "Who called?"
"Natsume Kusanagi, from the mall," he says simply. "She must have asked Usagi for the phone number..." Musing, the human formed cat is cut off by your mother.
"Natsume Kusanagi," she asks, blinking. "Tall girl, black hair?"
Ami flushes slightly at the name, quickly moving the mug up to pass off the sudden color as heat. "She called me?" She asks softly, puzzled and vaguely pleased, then blinking, she turns to her mother.
"That sounds like her...do you know her?"
Your mother nods, "She was admitted to the hospital last night," she explains. "A concussion and some bruising. Treated her Grandfather for a nasty cranial contusion as well." Putting down her cup, she smiles. "If she's a friend, Ami...you could come with me to work to visit her."
Offering thus, Mom smiles even more. "Better than sleeping the day away here, anyway."
Ami blushes for real, this time. Should...Well, I'd like...but she's not.. "Uhm, okay." she agrees with an embarrassed smile. "I never did thank her..." She glances at Artemis. "You're coming?" She asks, hopefully.
"Sure," Artemis nods in agreement. "It's either that or watch TV again all day." In agreement, Sakura goes back to her coffee.
"Then get ready and cleaned up. I need to be there by 8 30, and the roads still aren't fully cleared."
" All right." Ami responds, drinking her coffee rather quickly, but it still sits well in her worn system. As soon as she finishes, she puts the cup in the sink, and hurries off to her room to get dressed...
This goes without incident. (Describe your outfit in your next post if you want.)
On coming outside, you find Artemis in cat form in the kitchen, along with another Mau on the kitchen table. "Artemis," Luna says, "I was thinking...we've both been busy today," smiling warmly to the male Mau of the group, "With the snow level going down, they have fresh fish in again.
Why don't we go get some?"
Ami pauses in the doorway, smoothing out her blouse and skirt, and tugging a little on her sweater. Recognizing the female Mau's voice, She stops just shy of entering the kitchen.
"...going down, they have fresh fish in again. Why don't we go get some?"
Ami freezes as she listens to Luna. She's...asking him on a date...sort of. It's nothing new. She and Artemis have been close...why does thinking about this make my chest hurt?
Trying to squelch a stricken expression, Ami turns and hurries out of the kitchen before she overhears anymore.
....baka...
As Ami finds herself running off, half on thought and half on emotion...
"Hm," Luna blinks, stopping to turn. "Did you hear something, Artemis?"
Artemis frowns, "I thought I did...."
---
You find yourself in your room, the logical place to retreat to in a state like this.
Ami prided herself on logic and emotional restraint. Obviously, the latter had failed her before...her feeling for both Usagi and Makoto were proof enough of that.
But now, she was completely mystified as to why she suddenly felt like finding a dark corner and hugging her knees for awhile. Obviously, her hold on logic was non too firm either. What did this mean for her struggling to hold onto them?
Instead of slamming her door, she shut it calmly, and sat down on her bed, rubbing her shoulders as though she couldn't get warm.
Why? I...Am I so terrified of losing anyone that I can't let my friends have lives of their own? No...No. But Artemis- She hesitated, leaving unthought her nebulous, but undeniably strong feelings for her friend. No...No. He's a close friend, and I'm stressed over the past few days...that's all. It must be. She nodded to herself, but even in her own mind, the voice sounded wishy-washy and uncertain...
Feeling chilly and alone, a single memory whispers in your mind. Being alone, cold and alone...shivering...
Your stomach knots to your worries, butterflies bursting and flying throughout your body. Why...?
OOC - Soul check.
* Hatbot --> "Mistress_Ami rolls 2d6 burning 20 EP and gets 7."
Despite feeling chilly and alone...
"Ami-chan," Artemis calls from behind the door, "Ami-chan, are you in there?"
Ami winces as she tries to hold back the sudden anxiety, sighing as Artemis' voice comes through. Not alone...I'm NOT.. "Uhm...I'm here!" she calls. What could he...oh. "I'll be out in a moment."
"Alright," he calls, leaving it at that.
And leaving you alone again, without a second word...
Ami sighs, getting up and moving over to the door, and gently resting her forehead against it. "I..." She sighs again, heavily, and opens the door, after waiting a moment. He's...Well, I guess so. I just have to let him live his life, though. I can't...I can't go around falling in love with all my friends. That doesn't happen.
So doing she heads out to find her mother...
IN the kitchen you find all three. Mom's just finished getting ready, sitting and sipping another cup of coffee as the two cat Mau wait.
"Ami-chan," Artemis smiles nicely enough, Luna next to him. You can almost guess what he's about to say next from your torn, shattered and confused heart...
Ami manages a smile back, but it feels hollow to here. Just...be brief. I can hide it until then. "Hi Luna." she greets softly.
Even your cat wishes you'd go away.
Out in the cold, again...
"Hello, Ami," Luna smiles back at you. "How are you feeling today?" So asking, Artemis nods. "Luna and I need to go do something...I'll catch up with you later, okay," he smiles nicely enough.
"Why don't we meet at the hospital?"
"Better, thank you." Ami tells Luna with a brittle smile, then nods weakly to Artemis. "Okay...Enjoy yourselves." she replies quietly.
Nodding, "Tell Natsume I said hi if I run late," he offers, as your mother rises. "Coming, Ami-chan," she asks, ready to go.
Ami nods to Artemis, not trusting herself to speak right now, vague anxiety making her sick to her stomach. Nodding to her mother as well, she makes a vague noise in the affirmative, preparing to leave...
As you do so, Artemis frowns, glancing at you. "Ami-chan," he interrupts, "Are you feeling well? You're pale." The other inhabitants of the room turn their attention to you, Sakura showing a slight bit of concern.
"Ami," she asks, question implied in her voice.
Oh god, why me?
"I-I'm fine." Ami replies to both of them, forcing a slightly plastic smile onto her face. "Really."
"If you say so..." Artemis frowns again but shrugs his kitty shoulders, letting the matter go. "See you there, Ami-chan."
"Hopef you feel better, Ami," Luna offers as well, a slip of concern for you in her voice.
Sakura heads out, expecting you to follow her out and to the car.
Ami just nods weakly, and hurries after her mother, struggling against bleak thoughts beginning to intrude on her mind.
Always alone...
As you head towards your mother's car, "So...you know this Natsume from the mall,"s he asks, making conversation as you head on out. Jingling in her pocket as she gets her carkeys out, she glances up at you as she unlocks the door.
"Uh-huh." Ami replies softly. "She...got involved in the incident herself."
"Oh...I'm glad she's doing well, then," she notes, curiously smiling as she opens the side door for you. "She should be awake now, too."
Ami muses on that for a moment. "I don't think she was hurt in the mall incident." she observes quietly, more for something to distract her from her current thoughts than any attempt at an inolved discussion, her voice faint.
"Yes, from what I understand, it was a 'training incident', or so her sister informed me," Mom agrees, starting the car amid rills of snow.
"Poor girl...go through all that and a simple accident does more damage than an ice demon."
Ami nods, staring at her hands, folded in her lap. "Ironic." she agrees quietly.
From there, a silence settles in as your mother navigates the roads. Most of the plowing has been done, so it's not hard going at all Your mother seems to sense your mood on some level, letting the radio be the only white noise in the car.
As a classical, soft tune fills your ears, the ride passes by...
On getting out, "I'll take you up to her first - I'll start my rounds with her," she offers, probing gently.
I hope Ami's alright...or just getting ill....she looks so...
Ami nods and smiles faintly up at Sakura. "Thank you, Mother." she murmures softly, wishing she didn't miss Artemis' presence so much.
As you begin to walk, "...Ami-chan, is something wrong," Mother asks, stopping a few steps away from the car. "You look terrible." Concern is in her voice, as she waits for an answer.
I....But....no, I've already scared her... "It's fine...just a little down." Ami assures her mother with a smile. "Don't worry about me..."
"...Okay, Ami," Sakura shakes her head sadly, but lets it lie. Picking up her pace again, she leads you inside...
I should try and talk to her before she leaves, but...I'm running a bit late. Seeing her friend will cheer her up, anyway.
OOC - Chance for another line, then I'll move things on, Ami.
I wish...I wish I were younger. I could take her hand as we walk.
A sudden image fills Ami's mind, a smaller, childlike version of herself, walking hand in hand with her mother through the snow...until her mother slowly disappears, pulling away and fading into mist.
...I can't even keep my daydreams happy? Ami thinks, shaking that thought away quickly.
Come by the greenhouse tomorrow, Ami-chan! We'll have a good time!
The thought echoes through her mind again, and Ami finds her dismisal of the echoing thought wavering. I wonder if I dreamed that...it was nice to feel that way... As she walks along, she moves closer to her mother, almost desperate to reach out, but afraid, at the same time that contact will make her disappear.
As you walk inside with your mother; Sakura keeps close enough to you - yet not holding hands or any other long forgotten sign of affection like so. Once she enters the hospital, her face settles in a more business like, polite smile as she greets the receptionists before you head on upstairs.
You get a few kind words from the people she mentions you too - this isn't the first time you've met most of them, so it's fairly routine and rote. "Natsume's on the 3rd floor," Mother notes, as you reach the stairs up - the elevators being crowded as usual.
Ami nods, grateful for mindless pleasantries that she could do with a smile in her sleep.
Why am I having to fend off so many negative thoughts? Ami wondered, past sadness and into a dull ache that made her feelings less intense. I have to try and get past this...this is not a good fram of mind to visit an injured person in.
The thought of Natsume raised a few butterflies, but the heavy cloud over Ami made them barely noticable. Forcing herself to put on a more pleasant face, she smiles at her mother, then starts up the stairs with her, waiting until they're alone on the flight of stairs. "Mom?" she asks quietly, discarding the usual formal tone she uses.
Stopping in her ascent, ceasing the stepping echos in the whitewashed stairway, Sakura turns to you. "Ami," she asks simply, letting her tone relax as well at your lead.
What do I want to say...how do I want to say it?
Ami looks at her mother, feeling the weight of her feelings crushing her under them...and can't bring herself to burden her mother with them.
"...I love you." Ami says suddenly, with feeling enough that even she's a little startled. She smiles nervously and nods. "...I just wanted to say it...um." Embarrassed, she turns, and makes to start walking again...
Am is halted a moment later.
"Ami-chan," your mother blushes then smiles warmly, moving to take you in a hug. Firmly pressing you against her own body and evoking images of daily hugs after kindergarten class...
"What's wrong, Ami-chan," she asks into your ear. "Something's bothering you, isn't it?"
Ami barely resists the urge to cry as her mother hugs her, the warmth, both literal and emotional, pushing back the gloom a little, feeling five again...and not minding that all that much.
She hugs her mother back, and nodding into her mother's shoulder. "Yes." she confesses softly.
Gently rubbing your shoulders, "Do you want to talk about it," she asks. Mmmm, she smells good in a motherly perfume sort of way. Comforting...
"Yes." Ami sighs and slumps a little, her voice wavering. "But I can't...I don't even understand enough to explain...I try not to complain, but..." Ami trails off, sniffing a little and just letting herself be comforted.
"Ami," she says, soothingly, "If you can't complain to your own mother...but I understand. If you need to, call me anytime. I'll be here for you."
Ami shivers, slightly weak with gratitude for those simple words. She hugs her mother tightly.
"Thank you..." she murmurs quietly. "When I can...I will. I promise." she adds softly, gently relaxing her grip, blushing and hoping she hasn't made her mother late.
With a soft smile and understanding, "I'll look forward to it, Ami-chan." And thus, with that, the two of you head on. The third floor is the low grade floor for overnight stays and observational cases, which is a good sign that Natsume isn't in any serious danger.
Leading you along, she leads you to room 312 - an old man sits right outside the door, iron gray hair short with a certain severe, trained expression sitting on his face. A bandage covers most of his crown, as if he's taken a nasty head blow in the past day. "Doctor Mizuno," he rises lithely, showing no sign of his age. His blue eyes shine with a light that belies his seeming age, no stoop to his back that you can notice. Wearing a traditional gi and robes, he could almost be right out of Rei-chan's temple.
Ami blinks, looking curiously at the older man, and smiling slightly. She was rather formal...this might explain it. she thinks to herself, He looks more...stiff than Hino-jiisan. I wonder if he's a teacher, or a relative? She quietly doesn't say anything, but waits for her mother to speak or dismiss her, as the case may be.
"Mr. Kusanagi," she nods respectfully. "Has Natsume awoken yet?"
To this, he confirms, "She has a few minutes ago. She seems well enough, despite her...accident."
Ami nods, filing that way. At least she was relatively unharmed. She'd never been that seriously hurt during her martial arts training, but then she'd never excelled at it, either.
She simply listens to her mother and the older man, staying quiet and out of the way...
OOC - Paused and merged into Natsume's thread.
