Fearless Leader
Clef almost looked exasperated as he replied, "As I mentioned before, Princess Emeraude is the Pillar of this world."
OOC: In interests of moving the arc...*pulls out his scythe of smiting and SMITES CANON* o_o
IC:
"I see...given we're in this world until we save the Princess, it would be in our best interests to hurry." Fuu's quiet voice broke the momentarily silence that had descended on them.
"Now then...what will we have to accomplish first?"
Walking behind Hikaru, Clef grabs a hold of her skirt... and 'examines' the material.
Fuu boggled at the sight, managing to regain her cool she softly stated.
"My...I didn't know Clef-san was such a pervert...at such a young age too."
"Pervert? Me? Hardly! I was just checking what equipment you had on! You thought you were
prepared for the upcoming battles in such flimsy dresses!?" Clef said while walking over to Fuu... then adding, "And remember, I am 175 years old..."
OOC: We're ditching canon? Good. I think I have Umi down...
IC:
Umi sniffed. "Young looking or not, he's a dirty old man."
"My, how forgetful of me." Fuu hurriedly bowed, a deep blush on her cheeks.
"Clef-san...? May I inquire as to where we may be able to locate better equipment?"
"Well... Have you 3 ever used magic?" Clef said while moving to stand in front of the three girls towering above him...
"You mean like pulling a rabbit out of your hat?" Hikaru asked, blinking cutely as she imagined an SD version of her self (coincidentally with cat ears & tail) perform said trick.
"No, none of those silly parlor tricks that a 3 year old could perform... I'm asking if you've ever performed real magic." Clef said while looking up at Hikaru.
Fuu politely coughed, "Um...Clef-san? We don't really have the capability to use magic."
Umi snorted. "Yeah, We aren't ALL three foot high ancient munchkin wizards, you know. "
"Unless you can help us learn magic..." Hikaru paused, imagining the trio of them as ancient munchkin wizards before hastily adding, "...minus the shrinkage, Clef-san."
"I resent that ancient comment... I think I look young for 175, don't you think?" Clef replied, and added, "And yes, I can help you Hikaru, but only if you promise to become the Legendary Magic Knights and save Cephiro..."
Fuu softly bit her lip at Clef's words. He could teach them magic, REAL magic.
Given how her mother always was talking about how their world had gone to hell, Fuu could use the magic to protect her family if she managed to get back.
"Clef-san, I'll become a Magic Knight and help save Cephiro."
For family...
Umi grumbled. She was going to miss the tournament, and hence, she was in a sour mood.
However, even though she was inclined to be sulky, she had no intention of remaining here forever.
"Yeah, yeah...Whatever it takes to get back..."
Hikaru clapped, smiling cheerfully. "Well I'm game! I'm sure saving Cephiro won't take that long if we work together!"
Clef cracks his knuckles and points his staff at the 3 girls... "Mahoudenshou!"
As he speaks, a wave of fire spins around Hikaru...
A stream of water spirals Umi...
A gust of wind circles Fuu...
(Did I mention they were naked... nope, I didn't... ^_^;)
And one bright flash of light later, the 3 girls were standing in front of Clef with a shoulder-gaurd on thier left shoulder, white gloves with a big color-coodinated gem on the right, and new white boots... Hikaru with thigh-highs, Umi with ankle-high heels, and Fuu with traveling boots...
"Hmm... I was going to choose magic, but it seems the magic chose you instead..." Clef wondered...
Fuu rapidly blinked as she noticed the new additions to her school uniform.
"Um...not to sound ingrateful Clef-san, but don't we need weapons to battle this threat?"
Blushing slightly, she added.
"Well, magic SEEMS like it should take a lot out of us."
"I can't give you weapons... You'll get them when you go to Presea's." Clef replies...
Umi shot Clef a disbelieving look.
"So, basically, you're a munchkin fashion designer? What are these outfits supposed to DO, anyway?"
Taking time to jump up and whap Umi on the head with his staff, Clef muttered, "Where did Emeraude find these people?"
Then, pointing to Hikaru, he said, "Hikaru, you want to learn magic, right?"
"Itai!" Umi complained, rubbing her head. She began muttering incomprehensible things about tiny, young-looking lecherous wizards in a dark voice.
"You mean you'll really teach us now?" Hikaru asked, bouncing excitedly. Her cheer seemed immune to Umi's dark mutterings.
Clef nodded, and replied, "Yes, but I can only teach one at a time. Seeing that you're the most excited to go through with the duty of being a Legendary Magic Knight, you'll be the first to learn..."
With a sweatdrop, he added, "Could you kneel down too?"
Blinking, Hikaru knelt down until she was eye level with Clef, then waited.
Umi watched, annoyed, and still rubbing her her head, until Clef spoke again. She moved her hand to her mouth, smothering a snicker.
Placing a hand on her head, Clef whispered, so only Hikaru could hear, "Hikaru... search deep inside. Can you feel that the Power inside you... is different from the Power that you used to have?"
Following Clef's instructions, Hikaru wisely ignored Umi's snickering (or she was completely oblivious to them) and concentrated. "I do feel something..." she murmured...
...just as her stomache growled.
"Uhm... I don't think that was what you meant, was it?" she asked, slightly embarrassed.
Still watching the scene from behind the bushes... Firia facefaulted... silently. Because a hologram can't make a sound...
***
Clef sweatdropped and replied, "No Hikaru, that isn't it..."
Sweatdropping slightly, Hikaru quickly apologized before repeating Clef's instructions. "I feel... warm..." she murmured this time. A pale, red glow surrounding her briefly.
Clef nodded and said quietly, "Good... we're past the first step. Is anything going through your mind?"
***
Firia's head snapped eastward, as the Revolution radar picked up something approaching quickly...
"I can't descibe it... it just feels... warm," Hikaru murmured. "Like... like sitting by the fire at home..."
"That would be the magic within you... reach out for it, try and grasp onto the feeling..." Clef instructed...
Hikaru nodded, then focused on that feeling. All the while, the red glow surrounding her began to pulse.
Umi twitched, staring hard at the glowing Hikaru.
"I think I've seen this anime," she mumbled. "What's he doing, making us into Super Saiyajins?"
Clef nodded, "Very good Hikaru... focus on the feeling... does a phrase come to mind now?"
Flexing her fingers slightly, Hikaru suddenly yelled out "Fire Arrow!" and shot off a slender fireball...
...which, strangely enough, flew towards the bushes Firia was hiding in.
But hey, it wasn't as if Hikaru KNEW that they were being watched. It was only a coincidence that the Fire Arrow flew towards said bushes. Certainly not instinct or actually sensing someone there. No, that would be impossible...
...right?
Firia teleported to a tree branch to continue observing as the bush caught on fire...
***
Clef smiled, "Very good Hikaru... you've learned your first spell!"
Hikaru beemed at the praise, ignoring the burning bush she had "accidently" lit. "So what's next, Clef?" she asked.
"Well Hikaru, it's up to you... now that you have one spell, the magic should help you learn more in time..." Clef said.
"Who wants to be next?"
Umi just stared. "I'm missing my fencing tournament to become a magical girl?!" she exclaimed in disbelief.
Clef once again hit Umi on the head with his staff...
"ITAI! Stop that, you little gnome!" Umi snapped.
"I'll stop when you give some respect to your elders young lady..." Clef off-handedly responded...
"You kidnap me, force me to miss my tournament, peep under skirts and you want RESPECT?" Umi grumbled.
"Alright... let's clear some things up here Miss Ryuuzaki. I did not kidnap you... You were summoned by Princess Emeraude," Clef started, "And this tournement... is it worth the lives being lost here? Innocent people are dying..."
Umi grimaced. "No." she muttered. "Of course not. But why ME? We've got THOUSANDS or real soldiers back on my world! Why is it up to me to fight?"
"Am I supposed to know this? It was the Piller's will that brought you here, not my own..." Clef explained...
"Figures." Umi sniffed. Then she slumped slightly.
"All right, All right...what do I have to do to go home sooner?"
Clef nodded and replied, "Become the Legendary Magic Knights and rescue Emeraude from High Priest Zagato... It's the only way"
Umi frowned. "You said that already. HOW do I do that?"
"Well Umi, yo..." Clef was cut off by the loud, piercing Naga-like laugh heard nearby...
"Why look, it's the little sprouts and thier gardener!!!" Alcione taunted from a clearing nearby, with a giant beast next to her...
"Alright Magic Knights..." she started, but stopped when she heard the click behind her...
'Freeze..." Firia said while holding one of Ryder's railguns in her hand...
Umi recoiled slightly, unnerved by the two sudden twists to the situation.
"Er...Clef-chan...are you SURE you don't want real soldiers?"
"What? Who are you!!" Alcione asked Firia...
"Me? Firia Crysis... and you... you're dead..." Firia deadpanned as she pointed the gun right at Alcione's face...
"See... if those three don't save Cephiro, I can't get home. And since you obviously have it out to kill them... You're my enemy as well..."
Hikaru spoke up hesitantly, eyes still on the gun, "So... uhm... you're one of the good guys then?" She tried to smile, though it came up a bit crooked from how nervous she was.
Firia, while still having the gun trained at Alcione's eyes, replied, "I don't know if I could be called all that good... but I am on your side."
Turning to Alcione, she added, "Now... time for information gathering..."
"Now... I'm guessing you work for Zagato... mind telling me where he is?" Firia interrogated while placing the gun to Alcione's neck...
"Ha! As if I would give Lord Zagato's location to a peasent like you!" she screamed as she shot a beam of ice magic at Firia with her free hand... which went right through her...
"WHAT!!!!" She shouted in surprise... and went deathly silent as she heard the click...
"I'll give you one chance, or else I splatter your brains all over this clearing... WHERE IS HE!!!" Firia screamed...
"You wouldn't be able to defeat him anyway..." Clef stated...
"STAY OUT OF THIS OLD MAN!" Firia responded... taking her attention off Alcione for a second... a second needed to have her spirit beast shoot a fireball at the girls...
"Yeek!" Umi shrieked, diving for cover. This was NOT how she wanted to spend her day...
Hikaru acted as typical of 14 year olds facing death were suppose to act.
She screamed.
Then she cried.
And THEN she got seriously angry.
Which was when things became not so typical.
"Fire Arrow!" Launching her own spell, even if it was the only one she knew, she tried to cancel the attacks out. If only her aim had been a bit better as the spell hit the spirit beast instead.
Fuu blinked a few times...before diving for cover. Seemed the RPGs hadn't contained all the truth, afterall.
Reality was MUCH stranger than fiction.
"KUSO!!!" Firia screamed as the fireball shot towards the girls... and as Alcione got away... sans the Spirit Beast that was smacked w/ the Fire Arrow...
Clef however, was calm, summoning a gust of wind to strike the fireball off path, and down into the river below...
Timidly getting herself out of the underbrush, Fuu looked for all the world like a lost sheep.
"What was that all about?" She asked, trying her best to calm herself down.
"That... would be my former student Alcione." Clef responded with a sagely nod. "She took all the training she could and walked away to work for Zagato..."
Fuu felt a moment of sympathy for Clef, but it was promptly squashed under more..pressing concerns.
"Ano...what about maniac-san, Clef-san?" She asked, not having the heart to actually POINT at the girl with the very intimidating gun.
She didn't want to be rude, afterall.
"Well... something about her is odd. I couldn't sense her approach at all... she's either very good or..." Clef started, but was interrupted by Firia's "Not actually real..."
Umi glared at the gun wielding woman. Her life had taken a distinctly surreal turn, and she did NOT like it one bit.
"What's that supposed to mean?" she demanded. "Are you ghost or something? Are we going to meet ANYONE normal on this world???"
"You really should stop coming to conclusions Umi-san..." Firia stated non-chalantly, before tapping her ear and adding, "Linux... take her out of cloak."
And above the girls appeared the Revolution, gleaming in the sunlight....
"That is the Revolution... On board is one of the most advanced computers in the universe. And, I'm one of the representations of that computer..." Firia continued, and added, "Any questions?"
"Well, if you're as powerful as you say, then why don't you just go off and save the princess instead of hanging around here with us?" Hikaru asked, proving she isn't as ditzy as they said she was.
"Simple... I can't save the princess. In order for me, and you three to leave, the Legendary Magic Knights have to save the princess... I'm only around to make sure you don't die while doing it..." Firia responded matter-of-factly.
"Hey! If there's no danger to it, they'll just grow weak!" Clef replied angrily...
Firia waved him off, saying, "Hey, I didn't say I'd keep them from all danger. I just said I'd keep them from being killed. Broken limbs, minor bleeding, concussions... they don't kill, now do they?"
"I think it depends on the injury, wouldn't you say?" Hikaru commented and listed possible ways one can die with said "minor" injuries.
"Eh, it ain't my problem to keep you from all danger... what would be the fun in that?" Firia commented as she slung the railgun over her shoulder.
Looking at Clef, she added, "So, you're the boss... where do they need to go?"
Clef stared in irritation at Firia and replied, "To Presea's mansion in the Forest of Silence. They can pick up weapons there..."
Fuu shivered at the thought of having to travel with a gun toting maniac, but...
It WAS the only way for them to leave this world. Moving in close to Hikaru, she whispered.
"Shidou-san, do you think we should go with her? Who knows what she could do to us at this time." Fuu whispered, gently biting on her lower lip and eyes wide as she looked at the shotgun sized railgun.
Hikaru pondered the situation, then sighed in resignation. "We don't really have a choice in the matter. Besides, she's right. We need her as much as she needs us."
Umi, meanwhile, just stared, in a mixture of annoyance and disbelief.
"So, we have to get to this Presea's place to get the girls weapons, right?" Firia questioned Clef while pacing slightly...
"We? When did I say I was going along with them?" Clef replied calmly.
"WHAT?!?" Firia replied in disbelief... "I'm not even that bad to just leave a group of girls stranded in the woods with no way to find where they're going!"
"But I'm sure Clef-san has something planned to help us," said Hikaru, before shooting a not-quite-but-almost glare. "Isn't that right, Clef-san?"
"Well girls, I need to stay and keep a close eye on Zagato... you never know when he might strike..." Clef replied calmly...
"Bullshit." Firia replied with scorn in her voice...
Ignoring Firia's rude comment, Clef pointed to a clearing near the girls...
"Seijyushoukan!" he commanded as a large griffon appeared next to the girls...
"Use this to reach Presea... he knows where to go..." Clef commanded.
Behind him, Firia gave Clef a 1 fingered salute...
Hikaru smiled, petting the griffon as she climbed on. "Hello! You'll take us straight to Presea-san, won't you?"
Fuu stared with eye wides as the griffin appeared before them. She slowly walked toward it as if in a daze, and slowly ran her hand through its feathers.
Shaking the awe out of her expression, she slowly climbed on. This was just too surreal, she thought.
Umi looked at the griffin dubiously. "You're kidding....right?" she asked pleadingly.
Clef tapped his foot impatiently as the Griffon grabbed Umi's shirt with his beak and flipped her onto his back...
"Trust him... he knows the way." Clef stated as the Griffon took off east.
"You were bullshitting them, and you know it." Firia spat out as she took off after the Griffon...
"Bitch." Clef muttered... his last words.
"I'm sorry... I can't have you helping them..." A voice declared as he pointed a shadowy finger at the distracted Clef.
A silvery beam struck the mage in the back, sending him plummeting over the cliff encased in stone...
Umi clung to the griffon's fur looking uneasily at the ground far below.
"First a fish, now a giant, furry bird...This place is weird," she muttered uneasily.
Fuu felt her spirit rise as they ascended the skies, watching the ground fly below them with barely concealed glee behind her eyes.
"Yes, but I wouldn't want it any other way." Fuu softly responded.
Hikaru nodded, a smile on her face as she felt the wind gush past them. "Besides," she added cheerfully. "How often do you get to fly on such cute animals?" She petted the Griffon for emphasis.
Umi sweatdropped. "I prefer planes, actually."
Still, she couldn't help but smile a bit at Hikaru. There was something infectous about the smaller girl's cheer...
The mass of woods opened into a clearing, where Firia raced down to, ignoring the girls and thier conversation...
As she landed, the Griffon performed a slight dive and landed behind her.
Before them, stood a non-imposing castle surrounded by a wall with a strange, finite aura around it.
Hopping off the griffon's back, Hikaru petted it, a beaming smile on her face. "Thank you for the ride!" she said cheerfully, as the griffon purred under her hand.
Umi slid off the griffon, looking a bit queasy.
"I'll never complain about airplanes again..."
Firia turned to Umi with a bemused grin on her face towards the sick looking girl...
"You're complaining about that ride? Compared to 99% of what I've dealt with in my lifetime, that bird over there is a pussy... Take a ride on the Revolution, bad pilot included, and then you can complain about airsickness."
Umi narrowed her eyes at Firia.
"Baka. Do you think I'd be sick if I did things like this every day? What would you know about airsickness anyway?" She demanded. "You aren't even a human being!"
"I'm close enough to one to know what it feels like... My programmer's very talented y'know." Firia replied with a shrug...
Fuu stood apart from the others, carefully ignoring their bickering as she looked on at the castle.
Was this where they'd get weapons?
She remembered the two monsters that they had encountered so far. So far she'd had no hand in the battles, Clef-san and Hikaru-san having been the ones to effectively handle the beasts.
She gently nibbled on her lip as she looked at the main part of the 'armor' they had received, a breastplate made out of some metal. This would protect them as they did battle, wouldn't it?
Looking up at the castle with clouded eyes she once again considered.
Was she ready for fighting...?
Or killing...?
Umi stared at the holographic woman.
"He's also a weirdo, if he programmed you to know what it was like to get sick," she said flatly.
Hikaru suddenly popped up between her two bickering companions. "Mou! Come on, we're here already!" she said, trying to calm both of them down. "Let's just go see if Presea-san is home so we can pick up our weapons like Clef-san told us."
As was her wont, Fuu calmly ignored the others fighting, and continued to examine the castle.
Ah well, ONE of them had to knock.
Looking at the bickering duo of Umi-san and Firia-san, she sighed.
Maybe Hi...
Nevermind She thought, as she saw the short redhead's attempts at playing peacemaker.
Walking up to the castle, she hedged and hawed mentally for a few moments before sharply knocking on the door.
"Um...excuse me? Anyone home?" She called out.
Firia grinned at Umi as she struck a pose...
"Actually, if you must know, he did it as a test of his own programming skills... He wanted to see how perfect of an AI he could create. And well, I think it worked better that you all could imagine..."
She turned around to catch the wall of the castle open when Fuu knocked...
Fuu blinked a few times before shrugging it off. It wasn't like this was all that amazing, considering what had happened to them so far.
"Ano...Firia-san?" She pushed her glasses up the bridge of her nose before continuing. "Do you think this just seems a bit too...easy?"
Firia looked at the castle wall, then at Fuu as she walked up...
"Yeah, it does feel too easy, doesn't it?" She replied as she grabbed her gun off her shoulder.
"Wouldn't it be reasonable to think that security on an armory would be more...tighter?" Fuu calmly asked, trying her best to peer into the darkness of the castle.
"A trap for the unwary maybe?"
Hikaru watched, slightly worried when she saw Firia pull out that gun again. "Ano, Presea-san is suppose to deal in weapons. If this is like a shop, would you lock the door and keep customers out?" she asked, assuming that this was a shop and this was based on rpg rulesets.
Looking at Hikaru, Firia replied, "Thing is... this isn't an RPG. With the chaos in this world, Presea could have died a long time ago and Clef could have led us to a trap..."
Returning her focus to the tunnel, Firia started to develop a ball of light around her left fist...
Umi rolled her eyes.
"What are you going to do with that?" She asked. "Can you even tell the difference between an enemy and this Presea we're supposed to meet?"
Hikaru blinked, realizing she got left behind. "Hey, wait up!" she called, running to catch up with the others.
Fuu turned towards Hikaru, ignoring the floorshow provided by the bickering duo in favor of talking to Hikaru.
"You should be more careful, Hikaru-san. This place isn't such a good place to get lost in." She gently consoled the smaller redhead.
"You may trust him, but I don't... You can never be too cautious." Firia replied as she slung her fist back and shot the ball of light into the tunnel...
The ball bounced off the walls, leaving a glowing trail that lighted up the tunnel before disappating as it reached a large room at the far end of the passage way...
"Who wants to go first?"
"I know, Fuu-san. I'll be careful." Hikaru nodded, then blinked as she heard Firia ask who would like to go first.
Peering into the dimly lighted hall, Hikaru sweatdropped a bit as the tunnle suddenly gained an eerie atmosphere. "Uhm... I guess I'll go," she said hesitantly as she walked in.
Fuu pensively bit her lip as she regarded the cave, then Hikaru in turn.
"It wouldn't be fair if you went alone, Hikaru-san. I'll go with you too." She closely followed behind, eyes darting from side as she watched the redhead's rear.
Who knew what was waiting for them in this gloomy cave. And if anything DID come up, well, she could always buy Hikaru the time she needed to fire off a spell, right?
"Thanks, Fuu-san." Hikaru shot Fuu a grateful look, before turning back and continuing through the the hall.
Shooting a nasty look at Firia, Umi followed Fuu.
"Hey, wait for me!"
Hikaru paused, glancing back as Umi called out. "Please urry up, Umi-san," she called back. "You too, Firia-san."
Firia calmly walked into the tunnel, railgun hanging loosely in her right hand...
"I'm coming, don't worry... I can't let my escape die afterall..." Firia replied.
Fuu's brow creased in faint annoyance as she heard Firia's words. Was that all they were to this girl? Mindless little pawns to further her plans along.
"Hikaru-san, I don't trust that girl. Not at all." Her tone was soft, with a touch of sadness behind it.
Hikaru smiled slightly, though a bit uneased. "She probably just isn't use to us. I'm sure she'll come around after she gets to know us." she tried to sound convincing, though it only came out partially so.
"But...you heard what she said, we're just a means to an end. Can we really trust someone like that?" Fuu whispered back, eyes gleaming with the beginnings of panic.
"We really have no choice," Hikaru sighed, loosing a bit of her cheer. She tried to smile a bit confidently at Fuu though. "But like I said, I'm sure she'll come around eventually."
Fuu looked at Hikaru in consideration, "I...I'll protect you Hikaru-san. You can use your magic, while Umi-san and I can't. If it comes down to a confrontation I'll guard you for as long as it takes for you to get off a spell."
She blushed and looked away before continuing.
"Its good tactics to protect the most important person, afterall."
Umi came up behind the two girls, still shooting dark looks over her shoulder.
"I think we're safer with the mosters here," she muttered.
"Well, at the very least we'd be able to run away from them." Fuu added her own two cents to Umi's statement.
"It's very hard to run away from a speeding bullet."
Umi nodded, scowling.
"Or that smart mouth of hers," She agreed, then looked around. "...where are we?"
Fuu sighed, and looked at Umi pleadingly.
"Please Umi-san, we can't antagonize that girl needlessly. For the moment she's the one in the position of power."
Taking in their surroundings, she sighed.
"The cavern still extends a while. We'll supposedly enter Presea-san's castle soon."
Umi blinked and sighed.
"Allright. I'll try my best. But if she starts bragging about how wonderful she is..."Umi just looked disgusted.
"Well, lets get going. The faster we do what Clef wants, the faster we can go home!"
So saying, she began to jog down the hall.
Hikaru blinked, then began following at a quicker pace. "Come on, Fuu-san. It shouldn't be much farther."
"Alright. Sounds like a good enough plan, I suppose." Fuu shrugged before following after her two fellow Knights.
Firia hadn't missed any of the conversation... No, she simply was reconsidering her feelings towards the Knights. They couldn't seem to understand that she too had a loved one that she wanted to find quickly...
The quartet reached the end of the passageway, with a large set of double doors blocking the path... the small amount of light faded, leaving the Knights in near total darkness...
Hikaru blinked owlishly, eyes adjusting to the darkened hall. "I think there was a door here. Let's try to open it, okay?" she called to the others, groping the walls blindly, trying to find the door. Feeling the cold handles and the small crack between the doors, she pushed as hard as she could, budging the door very slightly.
"Okay." Fuu softly said as she joined the faint outline that had to be Hikaru in pushing the door open, adding her own strength to the smaller girl's efforts.
"I'll help."
Umi moved over to the other girls, and began pushing with them, adding her own efforts...
"Girls, let me..." Firia recommended, as her shoes turned into combat boots...
Umi blinked back at Firia, and then down at her boots. She gently taped on Fuu's shoulder and indicated the hologram, stepping back.
"Um...okay." Fuu quickly stepped away from the hologram girl's path, and moved next to Umi.
"I really hope she doesn't destroy it, like I think she will."
Firia nodded as the girls stepped back... Got into her battle position... Charged the door...
And went right through it to the other side.
The door opened with a click...
A few moments passed in silence.
...
Fuu blinked a few times before closing her slightly parted mouth, and began to pray that no one had seen her in the gloom.
She was a hologram...why didn't it click into place before.
Sighing, she walked up to the door and shoved it opened.
Walking in she was greeted with the sight of a...
Around Firia, and the approaching Fuu, was a library of sorts... Books lined the walls, and in the back of the room stood a desk, with the chair turned away from them, and paper fluffing about...
Umi looked around the library, frowning. "There's no one here..."
Fuu shook her head at Umi, and gestured for her to keep quiet. Pointing at the chair that was turned away she gestured to follow.
Moments later, she turned the chair to face them, revealing...
The turning of the chair revealed a white rabbit-looking animal with a red jewel in it's forehead...
"PUU PUU!!!"
Firia... facefaulted as the silliness overcame her...
"My...how cute!" Fuu happily squealed as she pulled the white rabbit...thing to her chest, squeezing it like if it were a live plushie.
Fuu blinked. Next thing anyone knew the rabbit was back on the table, and Fuu was looking away from it.
"Um...it in purely scientific way...of course."
She looked around the study in confusion.
"Where is Presea-san?"
"Maybe that was Presea-san," Hikaru pointed out. They have seen stranger, haven't they?
"The bunny?" Fuu incredulously asked. Turning down to look at the white bunny like thing, she began to bow to it.
"I'm so sorry, Presea-san." She honestly said.
The white rabbit thing bounced into Hikaru's arms and happily "PUU"ed...
Before a cage slammed down around the girls from the ceiling.
Somewhere in the castle, a loud annoying laugh echoed...
Umi banged her head lightly on the bars.
"This is getting ridiculous...."
"Um..." Fuu looked around them in confusion, "Hello! Is anyone there!?"
She would not freak out...she would not freak out...
Or nurture a growing urge to throw a fit, like Umi.
The annoying laugh grew louder as the rabbit thing jumped out of Hikaru's arms and squeezed through the bars...
"MOKONA! I'VE GOT YOU NOW!" a girl said while opening a door and walking into the light...
The girl stood about Firia's above average height, with light brown hair in a hight ponytail, green eyes, and a robe with some light armor on, the girl tilted her head as she saw the girls...
"You're... not Mokona..."
