Think I'll give this one a shot. I'll assume this is the best(or only) group subbing it?
StaticSubs are the best, yes... some of the others have some really amusing errors. "Onochi" was the most memorable.
Ok, I'm a bit biased from hanging around with the SS folks, but having grabbed all the releases of ep 1 they still seemed the best :)
If you've not seen any of it, be prepared to go "wtf" a lot.

I would recommend waiting for Static-Subs to release the episode. Anime4Life isn't worth wasting your bandwidth on. Still if you want to there you go.

A4L couldn't even spell the title right on a couple of their releases....
SS's ep 5 is out.

Woot! Now I can finally watch episode 8!
>_>
I was kinda holding off on it until I could run through to another episode.
<_<
Heh, "The Continuing adventures of Himeko the Clueless". Do you think she's actually worked it out yet?
What's keeping me watching is wondering who's going to die at the end; Chikane's heroic cycle is kinda conflicting with Souma's, so I really couldn't say.
Ep 10 is out by Static Subs.

SS release ep 12, the finalé. Aww...
It's finished? Need to get it...and question.
Does the ending make sense at all? A simple yes or no is fine, I'm merely curious.
In simple terms yes it works.
Sincerely,
Shuten

The series is strange: it uses just about every stereotypical situation you can think of, but still manages to keep you wondering what's going on: the final ep is no different, and in emotional terms makes up for a lot of the dodgy middle of the series. It does batter you around the head with the melodrama stick, but that's the whole series in a nutshell :)
Otenba have released ch1 of the manga, if anyone's interested: it's already showing signs of better construction than the anime, although as the manga came first that's not really that surprising.
