Soulriders is growing. And as we grow, we could use a few new hands to help out and keep the place both running smoothly and developing into the lively forums we want it to be. So we ask those who are willing to help out to step forward and be counted. =)
Job Positions open:
Crack Public Relations Squad: I want to put together a team of four or five people to help publicize the board, recruit new members, head out and examine other forums and arrange partnerships and exchanges, and basically take charge in assisting the continued growth of the Soulriders community by finding good people to come and join us in it. The duties would involve hunting out other forums of similar size and inviting them to join in the sort of exchange we did with DL, picking some other forums and lurking around them as a sort of representative for us to try and pull in new forumers, and similar type activities.
Needs: Good public relation skills.
Currently: 3-4 slots still open.
Frontpage writers: I want to get a set of writers to help produce content for the front page beyond my boring little blather that no one ever reads. These folks would be asked to produce articles which would get posted on the front page (we're reworking that to be more set for such). Basically these would be stories, articles on gaming, tales about the games being played, interesting tidbits on anime or fanfiction, and the like. No specific number is thought of for this task but if you're interested in helping out, drop me a line.
Fiction Gurus: Currently we have one fiction Guru and a sort of deadish fanfiction and writing area. While I'm no longer the fanfiction goon I once was, I would like to see this section grow. Therefore I'm looking for two new members to this crew. A love of fanfiction is a must. What you'd be expected to do is to contact fanfiction writers you like (preferrably newer ones) and encourage them to post their stuff here, put up updates on good fanfiction that you read, add your own stuff if you write, and help out in moderating the fanfiction community here. Alongside this, it'd be appreciated if those participating also wrote some stuff for the front page and for the section about fanfiction and the community. =) If you guys spot fanfiction communities (preferrably not delphi) that'd be nice to do a link exchange with, drop me a line.

Genshiken: We're looking for one more moderator to round this group off. Duties involve helping the place grow, moderating it, and writing content for this. Got your ear to the anime communities heartbeat? We're looking for you. Love discussing new anime and such? Same. Go over tons of anime forums and know folks you can bring in to help build the section? We'd love to hear from you.

Well, I have the HTML skills and YES, I can write HTML that will work with all browsers. (I used to do it all the time. Just because my private webpages are more geared for IE doesn't mean I don't know how to make them compatible)
Also, I could do the Art thing. Y'know, if you want. =p
EDIT: As for HTML, I can learn most things if given enough time, but I haven't yet worked with flash or things of that sort and my java knowledge is pretty basic. Not sure if that bothers anyone here but for the best examples of things I can do, just check out my webpages. www.senzeni-na.com and www.shingetsu.org Neither have been updated in a LONG time.....because I got MARRIED. I was a little busy. =)
I'm going to be a little busy during the late winter/early spring, but I'd love to help with one thing or another.
I'd probably be best at either Frontpage Writer or Public Relations. I've got connections, see? Um, I can also do some decent 3D rendering with MAYA, if it could help in any way.

Hmmm... well, I'm kinda rusty from my long absence from RPing (as can be seen in my massively messy setup... I really should have thought that through at least a little better before I posted it. ^_^;), I'm around and starting to get back into the swing of things.
