Title: Schedules
Post by: Bjorn on May 01, 2005, 10:42:33 PM
Since this has come up a few time:

I generally wake up between 6:30AM and 8AM Pacific, and go to bed between 10 and 11PM Pacific.  I have martial arts practice on Tues and Thurs from 5-6PM, and on Sunday from 10AM-1PM; with travel time, this usually works out to Tu/Th 4-7:30PM, and Su 9AM-4:30PM.  In general, I am available at any other time during the week.

However, I am going to be prettymuch unavailable from May 8 through to the end of May 11th.  I'll try and check in occaisonally, but I won't be available for major posting sprees.

I officially have no life, so I'm generally available to post all day except for the brief periods when I'm going to and from work. For the summer, I'll likely be out on Saturdays; otherwise, I'm generally available from 9am Central to about 1 am Central. (7am Pacific to 11pm Pacific, since most of our posters are closer to that timezone anyway. =P)

Generally speaking, the time you're most likely to catch me is around 10pm-1am on Australian Eastern time. (During the week, the time I go to bed varies depending on how important tomorrow is.) Translate that to 7am-10am East Coast US time.

Weekends I'm generally around when I havn't gone out, and it's fairly unpredictable just what time I'll go out if I do.

During the week, I tend to get home at around 7pm (4am Eastern, I believe) Aus time, though I can try to grab a uni computer between classes and do a post. Sprees/IRC are totally out in that period, though (excepting Mondays, where I get home at about noon. Except for *this* Monday, where I'm stuck writing an essay. >_<)

Basically speaking, I'm less likely to be in any given spree of posts and more likely to pop out of nowhere, say something, and then vanish. >_>

I'm usually unable to post on Friday nights and on Sundays I usually head out just to escape the house for a day.

Mostly, Mondays are needed to recover from the weekend.  Wait for a hangover to clear ... hide the bodies ... that kind of thing.

I usually have some free time midday and during the night. This will only be up until the end of this month, after which I should hopefully have some more free time.

I have been -exceptionally- slack lately.  At least part of this is due to my wacky scheduling making me miss stuff.

I will try to do better, but it's also going to be really demoralising if big plot revelations occur when I'm not around to respond.  So in the interests of helpfulness, my schedule:

I can -usually- now get online around 2-3pm pacific.  I can certainly get online after 5pm pacific.

I will usually be mostly here until 2am pacific, after which time I'll be around until I go to sleep (usually about 9am pacific).

So yeah, I'm around mostly in evenings your time.
