Title: A Feudal Fairy Tale: Inuyasha Game
Post by: Merc on July 11, 2005, 01:08:00 AM
Alright, settled on running an Inu-yasha game. I was originally going to set a certain story regarding the shikon no tama, but have decided it'd be better to tailor the story around the characters chosen.

Things to know:

1) Gaming will be primarily here on the board, with -hopefully- some IRC gaming, depending on players' schedules and the situation.

2) Gaming style will be diceless. I might on occassion roll dice to decide on randomness, a player's action or so on, but that's about it for the presence of dice.

3) I want 4-5 players. You can pick someone outside of the main five characters, or add changes/flavoring to the character, but chat with me about it first.

4) Definite Character restrictions, so don't ask: No original/crossover characters, Sesshoumaru, Naraku, or Kouga. Fluffy and Naraku for obvious reasons, and Kouga cause I just dislike him. If anyone actually likes him...sorry, but tough luck. >_>

Don't take it as a slight on you, Merc. Slayers was fun, after all.

It's more to do with Inuyasha sucking great big donkey balls, I think.

I wasn't taking it so much as a slight, but more as surprise since it felt like there were actually people that seemed to have expressed some interest in it in the anime games thread. Maybe I shoulda picked One Piece. >_>

Eh, the manga is better than the anime.

But how good a series is is not directly linked to it's potential for roleplaying.  Or fanfics, for that matter.

I'd love to play Kikyou . . . but I guess she's not one of the main five . . . and I sort of dislike having a rather antagonistic - indifferent at best - relationship with the other characters. Although, if you've been keeping up with the manga scanlations, this would be a great time to let Kanna into the group if I played her.

Hmm . . . *restrains self* . . . must not be Kuno . . . "I must have them both!" . . .

On a more serious not, as much as I'd love to play, I'm wondering where in my schedule I'd have time to do so . . . I'll give it some thought, if that's alright, and if there are still positions available, then I'll request to join before game starts.

<_<
I'd play. =p

Obviously.

This time, I might actually have TIME. THe last time I tried to get involved in a game here, I was in the middle of wedding stuffs. =p

I'd like to play Inuyasha or Kagome, depending on which one no one else wants to play.

Neither is claimed! Oh the dilemma you face!

Edit: Kagome is tentatively reserved! No dilemma then, I guess >_>

If spots are still open, and if you'll allow it, I'd like to play Kikyou. I'm thinking that my schedule will allow for a post or two per day, possibly more.
