Title: Aftermath: A story of Blended Cliches
Post by: Rakhal on September 13, 2005, 07:33:54 AM
With a title like that, I imagine many have avoided this story, but it's surprisingly good. Admittedly none of the cliches used are ones that irritate me, and if that's not true for you, you'll like it less.

Writing starts off a little spotty, but improves. Quite a lot to read too :)

And the index entry...

Title: Aftermath: A story of Blended Cliches
File: Not stored in the Ranma Archives
FFNET Id: 1769554
Author: Trimatter <trimatter@austin.rr.com>
Webpage: http://home.austin.rr.com/trimatter/
Crossover: Sailor Moon, Tenchi Muyo, Ah My Goddess, Tenshi na Konamaiki
Note: Spelling/Grammar is Fair initially, but improves later
Flags: Drama, Divergence, Quality Good

After a six year absence, Nabiki spots Ranma at a cafe. A lot has changed after Genma threw Ranma out. Ranma was locked then, but now she has accepted being a girl and is happy that way. She's even married! And that's only the start of the incredible things that have happened to her, as an increasingly amazed family finds out when she visits. How on earth did this all happen...

Incomplete: 866pp

The first part of the story is the main cliche thing, where we find out what Ranma has become during those six years. After that the story settles down to tell us how Ranma became what she was in the first chapter.
