Basically, you (yourself, RL self, etc. etc.) are, due to a freak cosmic ray, warped into the body of anime character, displacing their personality.
You don't get to pick who. That happy decision is left to Me/Bean ^_^
We do allow SOME leeway... you can pick what colour hair your character has.
But that's all. ^_^
