The recruits found themselves in a large tube, lights flashing around them as they glanced around. Rei stood calmly, waiting for the scanners to finish and give the okay to enter base.
Outside, one of thier new commanders waited nervously. His face worried as he looked over them. X knew he would be responsible for them....

"Some bloody first day," muttered X, running his gloved hand under his helmet. Looking over the assembled recruits, he felt a pang of guilt at the familiar scene. Though he had many years of experience in commanding troops, he still had a record for losing many as well. Either to casualties or that damnable virus.
Not this time, X thought. Not while I'm still functioning.
OOC: GRRAAAAAR

Rei Ayunami stepped out among the crowd, nodding to X. Turning to the new recruits, "This will be your immediate commander for now. He will show you to your rooms and help you get oriented here."
Turning to X, "I have to go report to Dracos. The recruit statistics are already uploaded into the network, you should be able to access the information you need."

X nodded in return, and turned to the recruits, bowing slightly as he introduced himself. "Good day, troops. My designated name is Megaman X, though, since there already is an X running around down there, that might cause some confusion. So to avoid any sticky situations, you can call me Aten." X paused, listening to the snickers of those with more than basic knowledge of mythology.
"As you know, I will be your commanding officer. Should there be any problems, you shall report directly to me," he said, glancing over the gathered recruits, a serious frown on his face. "Your quarters are this way." He motioned, a slight smirk appearing. "Welcome to the revolution. Welcome -- to Cor."
Chip smirked, analyzing their commander. He'd help for now. There was a profit to be made and he could sharpen his skills for the next tournament. Dressed in a casual brown version of his normal clothes, he looked relatively unruffled by their narrow escape.
Kenryu nodded. He wasn't used to working with a group but... sometimes sacrifices had to be made. There was something sincerely wrong going on. He couldn't simply stand aside and not act. He'd seen that horror over the horizon before the teleporter claimed him... anything to help stop another disaster like that.

OOC: The players of "Kanban" and "Fuu Raibou" are up, intro yourselves again
Fuu nodded, though still a bit stunned after the recent events. After seeing the destruction of London, if even for a fleeting moment, she began to wonder if she was inadequate for this. She headed towards the quarters directed, doubts filling her thoughts and marring her features.
Kanban learched over a toilet as he dumped the contents of last night's dinner into the toilet...
"That... was not fun..." Kanban dryly remarked as he stumbled out of the bathroom...
It wasn't just the teleporter that destroyed his internal balance... The death and devistation of London he saw as he awoke, and the worry about Olguin tagged to send him puking.
The computer in Kanban's room started beeping later that evening. "Rei Seyara is at the door."

Kanban hobbled his way to the door and unlocked it before opening...
"Yeah?" he asked, with a hint of sickness in his voice...
A ten year old Rei with glasses in a white lapcoat stood outside his door. Checking her pad, she tapped a pen on her glasses. "Kanban Musume?"
Fearless Leader
Kanban nodded to Rei and replied, "Yeah, that's me... want to come in?"
In the kitchen, a pot of coffee brewed... hey, to Kanban, any sickness feels like a hangover...
"Actually no. I'm here to bring you for your...." *checks notepad* "Operation. You wanted a sex-change it seems? Altering your genetic code so that you were born physically as you are in mind?"

Kanban twisted his brain to remember... then burst out, "OH YEAH! That's why I joined COR!"
He quickly rushed into the kitchen, shut off the coffee pot and grabbed his keycard.
"Ladies first..." he said with a hint of irony in his voice...
A quirk of a smile crossed the young girl's face as she lead Kanban Musume from her room. Leading her to an elevator, she brought Kanban down to the labs. Turning she asked one last question, "Are you ready?"

Kanban nodded... "I've been ready for this for years now..."
"Good. Is there anything specific you want regarding your new form?"

"Besides the obvious? Well... not too much... I guess a should be a little less broad on my shoulders and my face should be a little more rounded... otherwise, I'm happy with what I've got..." Kanban thought after much interal deliberation over her already impressive bust
"Acknowledged. Please remove your clothes."

Kanban nodded and started to slowly strip, while on the lookout for other people that could potentially be in the room...
He's not that unmodest after all...
The little Rei tapped her foot impatiently. "Hurry up and take it off already. There's no one here but me and you have nothing I haven't seen before."

Kanban shrugged and quickly completely disrobed...
"So, now what?"
Rei points to a large cylinderical tube in the center of the room attached to all sorts of mechanized equipment.
"Please step inside Ms. Musumi. This will be over quickly."

Kanban smiled at Rei and stepped inside, slightly shivering at the touch of his naked skin on the tube...
The tube slammed shut after Kanban entered.
The little Rei stepped over to a keyboard and began tapping away. The tube lit up as it began filling with some strange transculant liquid.

Meanwhile, elsewhere in the base...
X wandered aimlessly through the halls, his armored boots clanging against the metalic floors. In his hands were what seemed to be slightly crumpled directions.
Bloody brilliant. The most advanced CPU of my generation, and I can't even figure out these blasted directions, he thought in annoyance as he turned another corner. "I knew I should have taken that left turn at the cafeteria."
Coming to a door, he glanced up at the name slot next to it. "Kind Fearless Leader?" he worded, blinking slowly. "Must be the boss's office. Well, I suppose this is as good an opportunity as any," he mumbled, knocking on the door.
Glancing at a panel on the side, Dracos got up from the system he was working on, bidding adieu to Rei.
"Open door." The door slid open revealing X. "Hello Commander X. You are a bit early. The meeting prior to your deployment isn't until tommorow morning." Quirking his head at X, Dracos narrowed his eyes. "but you look troubled friend. What is it?"

Kanban held her breath as the liquid started to creep up the tube, with a panicked look on his face...
The liquid continued to creep up, covering more and more of Kanban's form, seeming not to be slowing at all.
Rei seemed unconcerned as she typed away at her keyboard, paying not the least attention to Kanban.

"I suggest you start calling me Aten. It will lessen the confusion of the troops," X replied, removing his trademark helmet and brushing back his brown, synthetic hair. "And I just got lost in thought, not to mention lost in your halls." He chuckled slightly. "Then again, I suppose teleporting just about everywhere can do that to one's own directional sense."
Sitting down in one of the nearby chairs, X glanced at Dracos. "By the way, I looked over your files like you suggested and noticed there seem to be another X and Zero duo down on earth." He raised his eyebrow, commenting, "You've been quite busy since we last met, haven't you, comrade?"
"Aye Aten... it has been a long time. Those two are from a parallel world to your own."

"Yeah. I seen their kill count since they began their mission." Aten shook his head sadly. "I really pity whatever world they originated from."
"But enough about that, I see that you seemed to have settled down here." Aten leaned forward, slight curiousity on his features. "So tell me, did you ever find whatever it was you were looking for?"
"Yes. And that is why I called you here. As you know, I came to the conclusion that there is no world for us. But in this world, already destined for destruction in the normal course of events... perhaps we can challenge fate. For us, bereft of a real place to call home, we can forge one."

Aten smirked slightly. It seemed as if the years hadn't changed old Dracos in the least. "Hmm, two old misfits we be, eh comrade?" He chuckled a bit, standing up. "Well, it was nice talking to you. Really cleared up my mind."
Walking out the office, Aten replaced his helmet, then called back before leaving. "If you're ever in the mood for a quick spar, tell me. It'll be just like the old days, testing our skills and all." Shrugging, he left the office.
Kanban was worried... the liquid had filled the tube, and he was running out of air. They couldn't possibly mean to kill him, right?
They say that you can read a person's thoughts by thier eyes... His were saying, "HELP ME!!!!"
Eventually, kanban's lungs could hold it no more... mouth opening he took a breath of the liquid...
and found he could breath it. The transculent liquid not harming him in the least... though he felt...oddly sleepy.
His body went numb as the nanomachines began to work, altering his dna on the most basic level. Slowly his form began to soften, his masculinity disappearing as he became completely female. The nanomachines were then drained from the tube, which opened with a hiss moments later.
"You are finished, Miss Musume."

Kanban stumbled out of the tube, her walk a little shaky because of the change in weight distribution...
"I can't believe it... After all these years..."
Kanban quickly picked up her clothes and put them back on, the motion sickness from earlier forgotten...
"Thank you so much... is there anything else you need with me?"
"Nope. Just go back to your room. Dracos will be having a briefing on your first mission early tommorow morning."

Kanban grinned and gave Rei a thumbs up as she walked out the door...
"I'm so gonna get laid..."
Turning a left, she sweatdropped at the endless hall of labs, and winced.
"Never'll find anyone here..."
Turning around, she finally saw a guide sign! It pointed to the bar, docks, and barracks...
Without hesitation, she headed for the bar.
Stepping into the bar, Kanban took a seat and put her feet on one of the tables...
"Attention... it's all about the attention..."
A thirty year old blue haired woman stood behind the bar, serving the few soldiers here in their off hours. Her pale skin accented her deep blue eyes.

Kanban sighed and walked to the bar, taking a seat a stool...
"Can I get a Bloody Mary?" she asked the barkeep.
"Sure gal." The bartender replied, turning and quickly making the new woman one. She slid it in front of Kanban and went back to cleaning a mug.

Kanban grabbed the glass and took a small sip, smiling contently as the drink slid across her taste buds. "Enjoy it while you can girl... you won't in the morning." she said to herself.
Looking towards the soldiers, she asked, "Having fun over there?"
A broad chested, though short, older man with a long nose and black hair turned to her smiling. "Yes, I am...though, it could always get better."

"Well there... Would a big strong man like you be able to show a lady like myself a good time?" Kanban flirted while taking another sip...
"I think I could do that...if I knew the lady's name," he smiled.
Fearless Leader
"If you must insist, mah name's Kanban Musume... And might I have the pleasure to place a name to those muscles?" Kanban replied with a bit of Southern accent added in...
"Seryavo. Seryavo Korvich at your service Miss Musume. Now what would be your preferred pleasure, Miss Musume?"

Kanban shrugged and took another sip... "It's all your decision Mr. Korvich. I'm flexible..." She replied with a wink on the last part.
Seryavo grinned, "Well then Miss Musume...why don't you come back with me to my room and I see what if I can find anything hard enough to please such a flexible young woman as yourself."

Kanban seductively grinned and replied, "Oh, I'm sure you can..."
Downing the rest of her Bloody Mary, Kanban stood. "After you..."
Seryavo grinned and offered Kanban his arm. Leading them out, he headed off to his quarters.
