This is two fold.
First, can we move Weekly to Sunday this week? Friday's going to be a mess for me for a lot of reasons both online and real life. It's also...fuck, it's Easter. I nearly forgot in my own issues. That'll probably shoot this idea down, but is this Sunday viable for everyone? Oi. <_<
---
Secondly, we've been discussing moving Weekly to Sundays soon. Thoughts, everyone? This is unrelated to this week's proposed move.
The straight answer is: Not really.
I may be able to show up, but I'd bet on Gavin passin' some brainwashing saving throws first. There's high likelihood I'll be in an all day crunch session then.
The answer on sunday viability at length: We've tallked about this. There's the technical and the realistic. Realistic: If we move it to sunday, I will likely start missing at least one session in two for the next good while.
Dracos
Possible. Depends on what time sunday and if the family spews forth something.
Either is fine for me, but why the general move to Sunday overall?
Nope. As you said, Easter. I'll be in church in the morning that day, and while I might be around for afternoon, the rodent isn't an afternoon creature, so... >_>;
As to moving the game generally to Sunday past this week? Realistically speaking, I imagine that I'll more than likely not be able to meet on fridays after this week (which is already being shot down I guess) because of work. I can hope to almighty god that I don't have to show up on work fridays, but we'll see next monday what my schedule is like.
Okay:
As for this week? I can manage some gaming Friday. However, between real life distractions, Iddy being away and Redux issues, I'm not sure how much we'll manage. We'll see then.
As for in general? Moving to Sunday supplies the following advantages:
1. I'm off 2 out of every 3 Sundays. This is a nice benefit for the GM.
2. With Merc's schedule for work, there's a good chance Fridays will be bad for him.
3. In the event we lose a PC or two due to issues(Iddy and military, Merc and job, Drac and school, whatever.), my first reserve player is Ebiris. He can only play on weekends on this time, so.
4. The time's better for C-Rat. His Fridays have gotten hectic while his Sundays have improved.
On the bad side, there is open conflict with Drac's schedule. People, thoughts? This doesn't need to be decided right this minute(And won't until Merc has a working schedule), but I do want to get the views out on it.
Friday isn't so bad for me that it's an issue worthy of consideration, honestly. I don't particularly care if I miss an episode of X.
Is Friday personally bad for anyone but Merc, at that? Given that you've been avaliable basically every Friday, I'm not sure how Sunday is an improvment (we go from 100% attendance to 66%?)
At any rate, we really need Merc's schedule before we can go anywhere.
I don't want to anyone to drop, but I'll be brutally honest anyway; if one person, GM aside, can't make the agreed-upon time due to real-life concerns, I don't think it's fair to ask someone else to leave because of that. It's fine to look for another compatible time for everyone (and that's the best solution), but if that can't be done...
I don't really consider deciding who drops based on who else might be able to play to be a good idea, either.
*shrugs* Hopefully, though, the timetable will work out.
*notes he's graduating, not suddenly taking more stuff =p*
Patience is good. I acknowledged I'd have a rough period at the end of school, but I do fully intend to keep playing after that's settled. I suspect I am not the only one who will have such. When we're moving towards a year of play, Missing a week or two from travel shouldn't be a problem, yah? Worst comes to worse, working out a slight trip for Gavin so he can be written out and back in easily.

Aside:
If we're playing friday, a firm and clear message on that should get tapped here for everyone so that we don't have one of the players wandering in an hour into gametime going "I thought friday had been canceled."

We're going to do something Friday. I'd like to do a small full group session to send you all off if possible. If not we'll whittle away on some solo or paired activities.
...no, not that, Rat. Perv.

As for the other points. All of those are quite valid, but Rat raises the best. Let's wait for Ami-chan's times to get settled.
Okay, update time!
Elaine's schedule in regards to Fridays is working every other Friday. So she'll be off for one out of two sessions, basically. Thoughts, people?
We're in solo sessions atm, so we don't all need to be present..
Beyond that? Isn't everyones schedule a bit hectic at the moment, anyhow?
Drac, May and I have various college stuff mucking around in the next couple months, Iddy has airforce stuff, Merc's working- hell, *I'm* looking for work- it's not easy to make a meaningful decision at the moment.
I think we should be flexible week-to-week. Have an assumed day of Friday, but have no reservations about changing the day- well ahead of time- to make sure the most people can be around. Again, they're solo sessions, so it's not a huge issue if a couple of people aren't around.
Yurt. Seconding Rats' words.
I've pretty much elaborated in detail on what I can and cannot manage as far as gametime. No real need to rehash and all. If we switch to all sundays, I will start missing a lot of sessions in the short term. If we switch to some friday/sunday swapping deal, who knows. fridays remain good so far but bad for Merc.

Rat's pretty much on the ball, though I hope not to be burying the dead still a week from now ^_~

A flexible plan also works. Really, as has been said, the short term of everything isn't really that great for the game, given school for Drac/Rat/Ru-chan, grunt work for Iddy, and my own work.
Like I said, they do have waivers for certain prohibited programs at work, it's just that I need to get permission from dept manager, and he doesn't know me well enough to like me yet and thus be willing to sign off on a BS excuse that I'd have to make up since those waivers are for 'work-related' issues only. >_>;
