I'm about to go to Tia Mary's house to eat some fajitas and watch a bit of the game of Mexico against Iran before I go to work.
So which of you peeps is even remotely interested in the FIFA World Cup?

Meh, I watch the World Cup, but only from the quarter-finals and on ^_^
Finals are over soon and I'm going home, so I'm probably gonna buy one of the sports-only channels that plays the World Cup on digital cable for a month and watch that ^_^
I'm interested in sports in general so, yeah, soccer is on my personal tracking radar. With work and stuff though, I've found it harder and harder to catch any of the games. Either I'm too tired or the timing is all out of whack for me... Bah! >_<
I'm still hoping to be able to catch the games with Italy (I missed the opening game), Argentina, and France. I'm looking especially forward to France since it's Zidane's last World Cup run.
Heh, almost actually ended up heading out, but figured I'd be too beat. Got some friends that flew out wherever it is to watch it in person.

Watching the US make an attempt at the World Cup is kinda like watching the Special Olympics. You cheer and scream, but deep down you know they couldn't stand up to a real team.
I'm glad I didn't actually watch the US debacle. And the only solace, is that the Ukraine had a worse result. Maybe the Japanese as well, going from 1 - nill up to losing 3-1 in 10 minutes time has to be super painful.
