After the disaster that was the RoD RPG, I've finally worked up the nerve to try GMing something again, and what better way to get started than a nice simple game of D&D using an established setting?
This will be an IRC game running on Sundays anytime from midday GMT onwards - that's what works for me anyway, but actual times can be hashed out once I have some players. It will be on Sundays, regardless!
Anyway, this will be a (hopefully) heroic game of fantasy and intrigue, with the odd module being run here and there amidst what I can make up, but really the tone and adventures will be determined mostly by the players.
Preferably looking for 4 of them so we can have an effective party, starting level will be 3 and while I'll obviously allow anything in the core books, I'm quite accepting of stuff from various supplements and such - if in doubt, just ask.
Likewise, if you need any of the books, just PM me on IRC - typically I'm using the nick Usagi.
So, with all that out of the way, do I have anyone's interest?
Tentative maybe interest. 'pends on Hal's game and my own obligations, but I'll officially toss my hat into the ring.

Take note, stats will be rolled as follows -
6x 4d6 (drop lowest each time). You get to roll 2 sets and pick which one you like most. Obviously I'll need to be present for the rolling - I suggest #dunes be used for now, since that'll probably be the channel the game runs in, anyway.
Then it's max HP at first level and rolling after that - no rerolls allowed for HP.
Please discuss character concepts with me, as I'd like to have an idea of what I'm dealing with and can better tailor the adventures to suit the players!

After that sudden flurry of interest, I think we're set. Iddy, you're in, and 5 players is enough for any sane GM.
I'll post in a little while with more info about rooms and start dates and stuff, and hopefully get a board up on the forum.
