1. Reducing the DCV mod for each extra dodge per round to +1, down from +2. This is to help combat NPC/baddie HP bloat. Moreso since this game is into group beatdowns, I feel this would be nice on all sides. Thoughts?
2. Setting a maximum cap for EP burns on a single stat check. THis is something mentioned every now and again and I mull it over every now and gain as a result. OFfhand I'm considering 40 EP - this mainly effects Usagi a bit and Hotaru a fair bit. Thoughts as well?
Burns over 40 ep at a time I think have only come up in omakes to my knowledge. *coughgoddessplutocough* >_>;
As long as relevant learning checks (+4s were pretty much always 'attempt to learn this type of magic'--and that penalty never significantly went down on some of them) don't suddenly start multiplying in difficulty, I suppose it's fine.
As far as DCV penalties, my typical strategy involves waiting until they'd be screwed either way, so I guess no objections.
For the first... I haven't seen the scale of battles, but with some of the DCV penalties I've seen on Redux attacks already, I don't see this making a huge difference. Penalty stacking should still be fairly easy to pull off.
EC burns will likely never apply in my case, as I can't afford the EP to burn for checks anyway.
I have no objection to either rule change.
