Armor Signature Crest is from Races of Stone. It's a crest on armor that allows others to possibly recognize you by making a DC 20 Knowledge (nobility/royalty) check, with DC changing based on reputation.
Rather than people making a Knowledge (nobility&royalty) check to recognize the crest though, I would prefer Knowledge (local), which seems more reasonable.
Vest of Resistance is from Complete Arcane. Functions exactly the same as Cloak of Resistance, and is merely worn elsewhere on the body.
