An excercise in duplex perspective poetry... done on a whim... I forget what exactly inspired this but I can always picture the scenes of battle when I read it.... ^_^ Well, as i declared it my corner, might as well get the ball rolling ^_^
Slay to each thine own
Relaxed is the clouds
A wave within the shadow
of an un-forgotten beast
A shade within a dream
Slay to Each Thine Own
To fate upon a darkened reach
Eviscerate the chosen being
Upon the hope within the dream
Crush the heart, beat the soul
Bringing destiny within a child
A nightmare never-ending
A light... to shine upon the world
Bringing hatred and despair
An unforgotten tale of truth
A riddle of woe and pain
With thy sword, on thy blade
With fierce claw, lashing tail
I Do Thee Slay....
[End poem]
^_^ Hope ye guys liked it. Feedback is always loved ^_^ as long as it isn't flames.
Fearless Leader
Oddly enough, this is one of the few pieces of poetry I enjoy.
This might just give me a few ideas for Dragomir, thanks Drac ^_^
Very nice, Drac.
Very nice Drac.
Thank ye folks. This piece was actually rejected from the literary magazine of my school... along with most my other works. I believe it fell under 'excessively dark or violent'. But they took my four horseman of the apocolypse piece. Go figure.
Fearless Leader
<sigh> they always shun that which they don't understand eh? wink* wink*
