Is anyone here interested in any sort of multiplayer online games? I'm talking anything from FPSes to online chess to eletronic virtual polka. Anyone?
AIM, thursday, speaketh you to me then.
Multiplayer online games?
Waste of time! Waste of money! Uninspired activity! Horribly repetitive!
BTW, I love them. >_>
My online gaming habits can be summed up into one word:
"Blizzard"
^_^
Rez: Sure. By the way, does this have anything to do with the link in your chatroom?
'Rat: Heh.
Tabyk: I never much cared for the Blizzard games. I played Warcraft 1 and 2 a bit, but otherwise they never made inroads.
Heh. I've been playing a good deal of SNES multiplayer games online. Is anyone up for some shared 16 bit goodness? Super Mario Kart and Street Fighter 2 Turbo in particular, but I'll try any game.
I'm always looking to find another person to play fighting games with online.
>.>
<.<
Come get some.
That I shall.
*Glances to AIM...*
I'll kick your ass, Ginn. You know I will.
In fact, I'll play you. This weekend. After I spend time struggling with MAME.
For some reason, it always takes me ages to get it working. Bleh. @_@
Heh. Only fighting game I'm REALLY good at is Tekken 3 and up, especially 4 ^_^;;
I'm growing increasely worse at SF ^_^;;
Really Rat? Which game, then? And which emulators work over the net (I've never tried this)?
And um... Friday and Saturday are booked already.
Utopia and Earth 2025 (free, text based) - swirve.com
StarCraft, StarCraft, and, oh wait, some more StarCraft! - Blizzard Entertainment
(formerely) Counter-Strike
I'll soon be into Diablo 2 as well because my brother and all his friends play it and he's coming to my college next year...
Utopians unite! O_O
Havn't touched it in ages and I'm already the third best province in my kingdom.
Woah, finding this thread took some digging.
Allright. Who wants to get their ass kicked at Starcraft? My pathetic record to one side, you can't defeat me, *even if you try!*
Only online game I've ever gotten into was the Current Events game (from GameFAQs). Well...no, I've been on Neopets and Gaia Online (not with the intention of playing, mind you, just researching stuff...).
Carthrat: I imagine if you're starving for Starcraft opponents that one of the RPGDL crowd would oblige you (they seem to be starving as well (http://www.rpgdl.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=500&start=50) ...or maybe they don't all post in that topic. I can't remember which).
Dawn of War.
Currently undefeated in ladder matches . . . all four of them. >.>
As someone said earlier in this thread my online gaming can be summed up with the word "Blizzard". Minus World of Warcraft as I find MMORPGs don't appeal to me. Plus I have Command and Conquer Red Alert 2 and Command and Conquer Generals. Both with their expansions(Yuri's Revenge and Zero Hour).
When does Dawn of War come out? I want that game. Mostly so I can command the Space Orks(for whom I have a 40k army that hasn't been brought out in about six years in my closet).
I don't do online much anymore.
So much work ;_;.
Red Alert rocked though.
Dracos
And I got Dawn of War. Definatley fun. And I love the orks. You have to resist the urge to chant along with them when they get going.
Bleh. Dune has San Andreas and Star Ocean 3, Rez has Rome Total War, and Rez+Cel have Dawn of War... what's with this? Everyone's getting all the games I want. ;_;
They work.
They make money.
Dracos
Buys another five hundred dollars worth of games with his next paycheck.

To add to that, Olgiun and I both have Shadow Hearts 2.
I have Star Ocean 3. And Shadow Hearts 2. And Nocturne.
I need to start Shadow Hearts 2 though. I burned through the remainder of Shadow Hearts 1 after getting #2 so I could unlock some of the things that reference your SH1 save data. But then before starting SH2 I got distracted by Nocturne. Which is the same situation with Star Ocean 3(although in that case I've at least played some of it).
Getting a hankering to play Secret of Mana again, and it's always more fun with more than one person. If anyone's interested, give me a poke.

If we can manage it with my firewall, I'd like to give it a poke.
