Well, while most of us know each other, not everyone does. Therefore in the interest of meeting each other and learning about all the varied people on the forum, here's a spot to introduce yourselves. Tell us about yourself, perhaps why you've come and what you hope to see.

I'm Dracos, most of you know me from Delphi fanfics where I stayed for a little over a year and had a brief tenure as the enforcer. Namingly I'm here to create a community of friends. A place to come and game and be merry. A world where we respect each other and have fun. I'm looking forward to meeting the handful of you I don't know very well yet ^_^

I'm Asrana Dragomir, Co-GM and currently active Manager of the Dragomir RPG. I too migrated from Delphi Fan Fics and I'm still there.
I came here because of the imminent chaos of Delphi as well as for more control of Dragomir.
I, like Dracos, would like to see a place where people can relax and not worry about trolls and the varied related species of internet junk. I also wish to see my RPG go somewhere.

My name's Adon. Most of you don't recognize me, as I've been a lurker on Delphi rather than an active poster. I'm here for the same reasons a lot of the other people are -- the decline of the Delphi Fanfics Forum had gotten too much for me to bear. When people get nasty and rebellious when they are asked to behave like civilized people and respect perfectly reasonable rules, it's time to move on.
I'm a longtime fanfic reader and I'm currently GMing an RPG on EZBoards. The link is on my homepage, which in turn is in my profile.

I'm hoping to join in on an RPG, which I've never had a chance to do before, and settle down without all the fighting which usually exists at Fanfics. Here I can find the RPGs, while I find Refuge elsewhere for fanfiction. ^_^ And a few fanfics here, too, I suppose.
I'm really more of a lurker than a poster, so not many people know me. But Dracos, thanks for inviting me! I think this'll be a lot of fun!

I moved for two reason, first and foremost because Delphi Fanfics was getting to be too hostile for my sensibilities. Secondly because of my loyalty to my friends. They weren't feeling comfortable at Delphi, thus I followed them here.

I am, essentially, the moderating influence on the nutjobs that run this place. Most of the serious mod stuff you can look to Rezantis and Dracos for. I'll pitch in here and there, but mainly, I'm here to keep them from randomly slaying people.
So, basically, I'm the lazy one. I'll back off and watch, and occaisionally champion ideas or people that I like, or I consider worthwhile.

I'm Ginn, already known to most of you here. I'm in both the COR and Dragomir RPG, as well as many other RPGs off this board. I never really left the Delphi board, as my general apathy protects me while wading through the sea of idiots there. Other than that, I'm more than a regular on both the Refuge and here, as well as some of the other boards.
Currently, I work for both Dracos and Rez. The pay sucks, but the fringe benefits are quite nice. I'm great with music and and proficient in graphics work, though not terribly good at spelling. -.-;;
I run a fileserver on IRC, so if you need anything in the realm of anime (music, episodes, spiffy pics), don't hesitate to ask. Anyways, I'm more of a resource than anything, so please don't be afraid to ask questions about stuff.
Like Rez, I do have a better half, but he generally likes to keep to himself. Hopefully, you won't have to deal with him.

I was on Delphi for a while, and when someone links me to an interesting thread I'll generally have a look. Apart from that, I'm active in a couple of other place...
I'm mostly here because Drac asked me to, and a fair bit for curiousity and fun factor. I'm a mod on this mainly because I know how to work it. ^^
Anyway, I'm usually findable if you have a problem, and if there's a bug with the forum
please let me know so I can try and fix it. That's my job.
So... ah... yeah. Hopefully I'll enjoy getting to know those who I already don't. ^^

Carthrat was running in a not-really kinda way RPG a while back, which he expected would turn out to be something incredibly funny but utterly stupid. The first post is clear evidence of that.
But the... something happened.
Another RP'er who will henceforth be refered to as Druid wanted to play, and to show her dedication, she gave me some D&D stats on her character, along with the main baddie.
Problem is, I thought they were relative, not meant to be take seriously.
Basically, the whole thing kinda crashed when nobody was sure was exactly was happening, and we got stuck in a situation which required things like, you know, serious rping, which wasn't what the RP was intended for.
The RPG's title clearly sums up my feelings on the whole matter ^^

Anyway, hello all. I usually don't talk a lot but I don't qualify as a lurker since I still do talk. I guess you can call me Shuk or Shuky (-kun or -chan is optional. I got no preferences...).
In the rpg, I play over a dozen characters currently. True it's sometimes overwhelming but it's better than being bored I guess.
Just don't expect me to join in every conversation or topic here...
I have bad experiences with message boards, but I guess I give too many chances so I suppose it's my own fault. *shrugs* Well if you ever need any help though or just need someone to listen, I'm usually available as a psuedo (sp?) psychiatrist or just someone to vent to.
Regarding most incidents, I'm usually neutral. *sighs* That, unfortunately, gets me the "oh-so-fun" job of being the middle man in every arguement. Buncha ingrates... -.-

I think it's time for me to introduce myself.
I'm called CyMage and that describes some of my methods quite well. I've been called Cy and CM by others who wished for a shorter version of my nick.
Some of you might have seen me around Delphi, poping in and out of threads for about a year and a half. Though with the recent decline, I've been frequenting a couple other forums, Soulriders being one of them.
I'm a card carying member of the Dragomir RPG and got a position in Carthrat's Mini-RPG once it starts up. I might join more as they start up. Though I fear for my mind. With my regular D&D games and the online RPGs, playing so many diffrent characters at the same time might give one a case of MPD. ^_^

Hmm . . . Well, I suppose that 'tis quite a bit after the fact, since I joined some three weeks ago, maybe a tad sooner . . . but I guess that I should introduce myself as well. Here goes:
I am the Yukatado, as in "The Bathrobe Guy." I also go by Yukatayatsu were some other bastard has stolen my nick *COUGHAIMCOUGH*. Where was I? Oh yes. I attend the University of Florida, I am a Japanese major and a TESL minor. TESL = Teaching English as a Second Language. Fun fun. Anyway, my hobbies include reading manga: some raw, most fan translated; watching anime: even less raw, most fan subbed; reading fanfiction; and Conlanging. "What the hell is Conlanging?" you may ask. Conlanging is the gerund form of the verb, "to Conlang," which is word derived from contracting "Constructed Language." My first major Conlang (Constructed Language, in this case) is a quirky little number that can be found on my web page. I am currently working on another one, which is sort of like . . . what would happen if German and Japanese bred to form a language.
As for what I am doing here? I do not really know. Have mercy on this humble one.

Interesting fact - I speed read. I read around 2500-3000 words per minute. I usually retain about 90% when going full tilt. Example - Rainbow Six by Tom Clancy, that's a good hour read. I have size 16 shoes and I've also been to 8 Mardi Gras.
I've probably read 96% of Ranma fanfiction out there. I save all the Ranma fics I find and file them away in zip files (including the Ranma section on ff.net). My zip files are around 800mb.
I'm not much of a writer, but I have 5-6 fics/ideas and some concepts that I eventually want to get down, so in the future, be prepared for a Ranma007 fic. It's not as if I'm a good writer, actually, I'm just average. But after reading so much fanfiction, I have a general sense of what makes a fic good or bad (or ECB bait, gotta love those).
Oh yeah, I'm good with computers too, so if you have a question, I can usually answer it.
Came to Soulriders a while ago, on Dracos's recommendation, and I've enjoyed every time I visit. I usually come for the ECB's though.

My name is "Jeram" - and I heard about this board first from Unseen, then later I heard about the ECB and decided I had to join for both reasons.
I have been writing fanfiction since approximately 1999, and I have posted on several lists, including the FFML and RAAC. I did do some Delphi-ing for a while, but I never really could get into that whole scene.
I have been writing online RPGs for a while now, mostly on the AcidReflux webcomic message board, but that board has mostly died down.
And I am very interested in joining both the RPG and ECB aspects of Soulriders ^_^.

Let me reiterate something I may not have mentioned: This is not my first post on this board. The other one on this thread is my first post on this board.
Now I know this may be confusing (I know it took me a few hours to grasp the concept) but someone in #soulriders last told me that apparently the best way to introduce yourself here was to post in the Introductions thread.
Of course, when I scanned the Soulriders page, I could not find any such thread. So, I pondered, where could it be? I knew it must exist - else why would the intrepid chatters of #soulriders mention it to me? I realized most of the boards were the RPG folks had mentioned, and then I noticed the fanfiction thread. Ah ha! I then assumed incorrectly here was that most introductory of fabled threads. But lo and behold, it was no where to be found.
I sat back in my chair and frowned, scratching my head in consternation. Surely the stalwart souls in #soulriders had not steered me wrong. No, of course they could not have - I was merely having difficulty navigating the site.
I shrugged and decided to hedge my bets, as it were, and continue to peruse the site.
And lo and behold, I saw an odd heading, one that engendered old memories of DragonLance (c) and my huge collection of such books. Bemusedly, I opened the board, expecting to find spicy potato recipes or similar accoutrements.
Imagine my surprise and joy to discover that I had found the lost Introductions thread!
With a smile on my lips and a song in my heart - I triumphantly typed my "Hello" for the very first time on the Soulriders board.

One of these days, some of you will notice that the rusty drainpipe for the sink in the bathroom down in the basement had clogged while you weren't looking. Some will give an honest attempt to flush the gunk away with Drain-O, while others will simply put a police tape around the door and not use the dirty lavatory altogether until the next family moves in and wonder if someone had a coronary while trying to overcome constipation on the toilet - and if so, whether the body's still on the seat.
Well, your friendly pint-sized flea-demon, known as ukie-chan, had disappeared into one such nasty drainpipes a few months ago when he flew over the sink just as a human was turning on the spigot. This would have been a sad tale to those who knew of it and cared, but rather than being unexpectedly exterminated, he found himself traveling great lengths – where no flea had ever gone before, so to speak – and had a free tour of the friendly suburbs of Philadelphia over two months. At least, the sewage systems underneath the cities, but that makes no difference to a flea.
Finally, after a malodorous trek through the clusters of B'zzzz, B'zzzzzz, and even the great heartland of his people, the B'zzzzzzz'zzzzzzz'zzzzzzz, and well after a few enjoyable flings and wing-battings with several attractive, multi-dextrous, and equally odoriferous females of his species, he found himself exiting with a spurt of unsoiled – and unfortunately chlorinated - water from the kitchen faucet at Soulriders' Inn.
This is a friendly return greeting message from your local flea-demon, who plans to work up a C&C stink in the fanfic room in the near future, time permitting.

A while ago I was a member of an RPG site (Netland White Tower if that means anything to any of you), but then the site split up due to major disagreements and I couldn't really pick a side, and both of them stagnated, so I just stopped RP'ing.

I joined here because I always watched my brother talk on the channel, and I wanted to be part of the happy-go-lucky community where people actually knew anime and not be like those stupid neanderthals on common chat rooms where all of the people there were idiotic 13-year olds posing as older people so they could participate in the stupid, pathetic sex-substitute called "cyber sex".
I am a total bibliomaniac, and I enjoy reading the fantasy and sci-fi genre, and occasionally a horror book (I suggest you read The Chosen Child by Graham Masterton. That is the freakiest and most visually rich book I have ever read. I had to put the book down several times to catch my breath. I was wary of dark places after I finished..) and very rarely, a romance novel -- and only to scoff at the stupid cliches.
I also enjoy drawing. I have been drawing ever since I was really little. I am waiting for the opportunity when I can post my drawings up to share with the rest of the world.
And I write fanfics. So far I have only one, but it's almost finished. And my friends like it (but they are total otakus and I don't know if that even counts).
And I play the violin, but I'm only mediocre.
Looking forward to immerse myself in this community of geeks like me.

I am a newb when it comes to rpg forums, i tried one once, and i hope that my writing skills have imporved since then. I like regular D&D as well as some of the computerized versions, specifically the baulders gate series. In regards to the last post, this site was in fact linked to The RPG Duelling League (http://www.rpgdl.com), although I should perhaps not steal Dune and Hal's thunder on that one. However, that happened only in the last twelve hours or so, so I doubt it is responsible for an influx ten days back.
ANYWAYS.
I am Sir Alex, an utter and complete gamer geek. I came here following the directions of Dunefar and Halbarad, who have spoken on occasion of high quality roleplaying to be had, in the hopes that this would be the place for such (and from what I have read so far, it seems not at all disappointing!)
Regarding myself, I am weird, too serious for my own good, strange, completely and utterly devoid of tact, odd, crazy, deeply Christian, somewhat gothic in the classical sense of the word, and occasionally given to paranoid delusions. Just to warn you.
I mentioned that I came here in search of good roleplaying. I hope to find, well, good roleplaying, and more importantly good roleplayers, of the intelligent type one can befriend and have fun with (as opposed to the rather vapid "OMG I have 12d6 damage, and like, my character would SO not do that" type I have found elsewhere). At the moment I am so happy to find a place such as this that I can barely breathe. Or perhaps that's just the lack of sleep kicking in.
Most of my RPG experience lies in the dreaded D&D 3rd Edition, and most of that over AIM chats, although I have also tried to run and play in games using the AD&D, Fallout and Nightmare systems, freeform, White Wolf LARPs, message board RP, and some homebrewed things with varying degrees of experience and success. I realize that some of the above are probably banned words here, but what can ya do. I am more inclined towards the GM side than the player side, although that has in large part been due to a lack of other competant and serious GMs and games in my acquaintance (yes, I do trust in Dune's skill, but Sailor Moon is not quite my thing). At the moment I am involved in only one game, that being the one I am DMing (pardon my interchanging of D and G there as well). Said game is set in a world called Amaryllis, uses a version of D&D houseruled into near oblivion and... well, here (http://www.geocities.com/terrybrash/AND.html) is the website for the game, those interested would do better to read the documents there than hear me babble on.

I'm Zenthor, or Zenny, and aside from being a Tales and Nippon Ichi fanboy I used to roleplay and write alot, but since the group I roleplayed with broke up a couple years ago, I haven't done much of that sort. I tried to start up a couple on the aforementioned RPGDL forums, but both flopped. But, when Dune (I'm assuming Anastasia here, yes?) and Halbarad linked here, I figured I might as well give roleplaying another shot. Especially since they had mentioned that the group here was about on par with the group at the DL. (Well, hopefully you're a bit more intelligent than some of the members there. >.>)
Most of... no, all of my roleplaying experience has been in Free form chat RPs and message board RPs. I'm pretty much an idiot when it comes to anything D&D, sadly.
So, yeah, that's about it. I'll probably be scoping out the games going on here before joining anything.

Good to hear. Well, feel free to toss in your hat for any of the games currently holding applications (gestures over at his own with a hint) or try your hand at GM'ing. Drop by the chatroom as well. We're always glad to see newcomers along there and it's a good way to keep tabs on the games 'soon to be' that stir about before getting posted. There's also the testing grounds for new games.

If you've ever seen Sailor Moon, Chibi Usa is the title character's six year old daughter from the future. Don't ask. Her name in the North American dub was Reenie, if that helps at all.

Sounds cool. Oddly enough, a lot of the characters I've RPed so far have been male, actually (barring "mc" from the GML topic). Though this may or may not be related to many of the people I've RPed being expendable losers.

I'd buy that. Average RPGDL age was what...20? Based on the two people I know who were here before the rest of us invaded the average age is estimated to be...24. Hence 20% older. And since you're about 30, we must therefore conclude that someone on this board is 36!

Hello. I've been lead here by Inuyasha-chan. She said something about promising to recruit new members and asked me to appear. She knows me from Gaia. Don't worry, I'm not one of the horrors from that places Chatterbox section. Other boards that I tend to roam are CBUB and most of the major Legend of the Five Rings sites. I tend to be more into science fiction RPs than fantasy ones although I enjoy most types.
Huh, I think this is the first time I've seen someone from Gaia take interest in a non-Gaia message forum. Not that I've followed the site all that often, to be fair.

I know it's way too late for a person who has a 9am class today to be up but i was pulled into a rather interesting SM fiction and couldn't go to bed till i finsihed it ^^;

Yeah Ebiris' fanfiction brought me here and i'm happy about it. I cna talk about Ebiris' beautiful works all day but this post is about me right...
Ok so umm i just turned 19 on the seventh of this month. I was born and raised in Brooklyn NY and only moved to Georgia in the summer of 2000. I now live in an apt across the street from my university: Clayton College & State University in Morrow Ga. I'm majoring in Information Tech mostly cause i love computers way too much. Umm, i love all anime really not just Sailor Moon, i've seen quite a bit ranging from Ranma 1/2 to Mindnight Goku. But Sailor Moon is andalways will be my first love.
i'm also a very big fan-fiction writer. I love the stuff, it's what keept me alive through high school really ^^; I have several accounts all over the palce that i update usualy all at once when i have an updated chapter. I've been pretty quite in the past few months due to me entering college for the first time last Aug.
Well, that's all i can think of right now so i'm going to head off to bed to get about 2hrs of sleep before my 9am class. I look forward to meeting you all *huggles*

Ebiris: LOL, nah i'm not about to beg and plead with you about writing ect. I know all too well how the life of a fan-fic writer has it's ups and down times. I just wanted to say that it was a really good fic and it kinda woke me up. Don't worry I'm not a stalker ^^;
