From the mention of 'last couple of posts before Something Happens'. Not very perceptive, I'm afraid, and if there was a ref in his name I missed it.

I figured something was going to happen with him. Best odds on either assassination or kidnapping, with long odds on him leading some takeover of the Lighthouse or something.

No reference in his name, at least none that matters. I grabbed a random Stephen King book from my shelf -- From A Buick 8 -- opened to a random page, and used the first name I saw.

I did, but I was watching Ahhnald at the time so my opinion was a bit skewed.
