I've gotten this question more than a few times and figure I should clear it up publicly.  This started as my own review column but I'm fine with other people posting game reviews here as well provided they are reasonably well written and detailed.  Aka no:
"FFVIII Review"
"It SUXXORED!  The end"

But it's soooooo true and concise!

FF8 was that bad, dammit.

And on a serious note, I still plan to put up a Brigandine review.

Yes, it is.  But if someone is going to flame FF8 it should be the Omegaflame.  The Flame from which all other flames take their power.  For nothing else would be really worthy of providing webspace for and considering a review of FF8.

Hey. If anything deserves the Omegaflame, it would be Chrono Cross. FF8 is merely insanely, suicide inducingly bad.
