Title: Plans for the New Year?
Post by: Anastasia on January 04, 2004, 07:52:50 PM
Yep.

Do you have any thing in the works for 2004? For me:

1. Continue to run the SMRPG game and further improve as a GM.

2. See if Carthrat can ever track down Diane.

3. Get transfered into a better department at work. My department is starting to suck.

4. Just let loose and enjoy 2004. 2003 was kind of a blah year, so let's step it up.

1) Survive School.

2) Make a passing effort at not dropping stuff here.

Yeah.

A passing effort? Aren't we worth at least a lukewarm effort?

Ouch, man. That burns.

1) Get my college plans back on track in a major way. Been too long since I made any real progress towards my degree, so it's about time.

2) Balance school with a full-time job without going insane. >_>

3) Continue to harass Dune at every opportunity. There's just so much room for improvement there...

Dammit, man, don't do that! ;_;

Am I really that much fun to harrass, Hal? It's not like I'm the rabbit here.

And good luck with the school/work thing. It's a killer.

Do what, Rat? You lost me there.

/me eyes you.

You're *trying* to make me feel guilty, aren't you? @_@

Pretty much, yeah. I just want more posts, man. Is that so much for me to want?

...And don't start with 'it's always my post!'
Title: Plans for the New Year?
Post by: Carthrat on January 04, 2004, 08:02:21 PM
Well, it is! And there's nothing special about having 3k+ posts. If anything, it makes you feel like you really should be doing something else. >_>
Title: Plans for the New Year?
Post by: Anastasia on January 04, 2004, 08:04:11 PM
It's not ALWAYS my post. It's your post for the ten seconds it takes you to type up a reply.

And...um.....................yeah. Just post more!

I can't go faster than top speed, dumbass. Maybe you should try changing gears.
Title: Plans for the New Year?
Post by: Anastasia on January 04, 2004, 08:08:21 PM
This is top speed? I dunno, I'd figure you'd have something like 452,195 posts if you were going top speed.
Title: Plans for the New Year?
Post by: Carthrat on January 04, 2004, 08:09:49 PM
I would not, because you're so SLOW!
Title: Plans for the New Year?
Post by: Anastasia on January 04, 2004, 08:13:18 PM
I'm not slow. I'm just lazy.

There's a world of difference there.
Title: Plans for the New Year?
Post by: Carthrat on January 04, 2004, 08:15:06 PM
I'm lazy, too, yet somehow, I'm much faster than slow 'ol Dune.

I must just be BETTER and COOLER.

*I spend 23 hours on the computer with my eyes taped open and my fingers glued to the keyboard. Oh my God, I'm a freak. Shoot me, Dune, shoot meeeee!

>_>

Where did total time spent come into the equation? This is all about how productive you are per minute! And you're totally useless!
Title: Plans for the New Year?
Post by: Anastasia on January 04, 2004, 08:20:11 PM
I'm perfectly productive.

Look at the SM game, or the Adventure's total post count...or...um....stuff.
Title: Plans for the New Year?
Post by: Carthrat on January 04, 2004, 08:21:20 PM
That's because you've had oh-so-long to do stuff, you slowass bitch.
Title: Plans for the New Year?
Post by: Anastasia on January 04, 2004, 08:22:04 PM
Resorting to ad hominem attacks, rodent? >_>

And I have enough time to be productive and get things done.
Title: Plans for the New Year?
Post by: Carthrat on January 04, 2004, 08:22:42 PM
But think how much *more* you could get done!
Title: Plans for the New Year?
Post by: Music-chan on January 05, 2004, 12:48:46 AM
ah HEM, boys.....calm down.

Hmmm, what do I have planned for this year?

1. Pass all my classes
2. Plan a wedding
3. Go to ACEN
4. Find a new apartment in Canada with a certain Mage.
5. Get married
6. Well, I think you know what comes after that.

Hm...*briefly ponders injecting some mint flavored bitterness into the thread but tosses that idea away*

So, anyhow, I just have one goal for the year. Same one I do for every year, actually.

1. Survive without going insane.

Mm...yeah, that works.

No, a divorce where she takes him for all that he's worth, leaving him penniless and broken man and then sticks him in leather and makes -him- her bitch! =p

My goals:
1) Not to kill my sister
2) Not to kill my teachers
3) Not to kill the stupid americans who think they're smarter than everyone but can't even spell or use remotely proper grammar
4) Well, in general not kill anybody
5) Pass my classes
6) Get a job
7) Go to IY-chan's wedding
8) Put a chef hat on the chef at some point during the wedding with super glue.

My plans are simple ^_^

1) Pass school
2) Pass school so I can get my PS2 modded and get a bunch of games
3) See if any cute girls want a laid back, no strings attached relationship...
4) See if I can get any further progress on current work-in-progress...
5) If all of the above and all else fails, walk into a highway and jump in front of a semi moving at 120km/h ^_^

They'll be using the Well to time travel, obviously.

Hmm... what to get done this year:

1) Get 3 A's in my A-levels so I can go to Cambridge...
2) Get some writing done before I stagnate completely!
3) Sort out my love life.
4) Sort out my social life.
5) Find meaning in a petty, cruel world.

There is no meaning.
There is only ZUUL.

Feh.

I prefer Cthulhu. Zuul isn't half the demonic entity from beyond that Cthulhu is!

I mean....do you *ever* see Zuul don a Hawaiian shirt?

Now *that* takes some balls.

How about fishing?
Title: Plans for the New Year?

Only if it's, like, fishing in snowfields that by some strange coincidence happen to be part of a ski resort.

;_;

Rez!

Nothing compares to fishing out in the open ocean, man! Nothing!

This is where manhood is put to the test, where men are men, and women smell like flounder!

Bah, unless you've taken a hook though the face, you've not lived!  Deep sea fishing for oversized fish with undersized equipment is the only way to go!

Zuul was the entity that posessed Sigourney Weaver, just the Gatekeeper, and a servitor of Gozer.

And Gozer kicks ass. "Then, during the Third Rectification of the Voldranei, Gozer took another form: that of a giant Slorr! Many shubs and zuuls knew what it was like to be roasted in the depths of the Slorr that day, I can tell you!"

May I suggest: Not Florida?

*indicates his own bias there but it's not really anywhere near as beautiful and as peaceful as people make it out*
