Notecards fell to the ground like snowflakes over a large area, somewhat like sakura petals as Bolt looked at Yomiko, and Yomiko looked back, a somewhat hopeful and at the same time, knowing expression spread across her face.
"Cy? Sweetie? Is that you?"
The moment seemed to stretch slightly before Bolt replied, and a stray breeze caught the still falling notecards, and began to scatter them across the park...
--
Meanwhile, the three hangers on watched the moment with suprise, and a little bit of amusement.
Kotone smiled nervously at the other two girls. "I feel like we just stepped into one of Professor's Shoujo manga..." she observed, which set Tomoyo giggling behind her hand, and glancing sidelong over at Sakura...
A nod was the only reply. Sai moved towards Ra-chan. "You're ok. I was worried that something might have happened. Did anything happen? How are you holding up?" Opening his arms for a hug, and not being one to babble on, he finished. "I missed you."
Without a word, Ra-chan closed the distance between herself and Cy and threw herself into his arms. If she closed her eyes and just held him, she could almost convince herself that they were back home, in their own bodies, without any of this 'saving the world' stuff involved.
"I missed you too. Oh how I missed you....I didn't think I'd find you this easily but I should have known."
'Yomiko' smiled self-consciously and pulled away just enough to get a good look at the man in front of her. He was much, much taller than her current body, something she wasn't really used to. And not nearly as skinny. Well, there was a lot of differences, she guessed. But the woman couldn't help but snicker a bit.
"Bolt Crank, huh? I'd recognize that guy anywhere. I'd oddly fitting, though I almost expected you to be some sort of mage. At least you're not a girl though. I mean, I've met up with Rat already."
Ra-chan was much shorter then usual, but still fit in his arms perfectly. He just wanted to stay like this for a long time, but knew they couldn't.
"Heh. I don't think there are too many mages out there that have the combination of my good looks, skill and plain old coolness. Though I think you're quite close to your normal self, Ms. Bookworm." Even though it wasn't his face, that special smile appeared on it just for her.
Reluctantly pulling away a bit, he looked at the others. "I see that we're somewhat on the way to getting all the 'chosen' ones together. Karthuratsu Tanewaki, you, me and Sakura there. Who still hasn't told me her name." A little extra emphasis was placed on the last part.
"Do you know how odd it looks when Bolt smiles?" 'Yomiko' grinned a little, then glanced over at the others. Yup, that was definitly Sakura and her friend, but she didn't recognize the other girl at all.
"It's gotta be one of the guys. There were only two of us women and I think we'd own up to it right away. Thus far, we have a more women in our team than we did when we first started. Rat is some girl from Those Who Hunt Elves, one of our team members is some minor character from Love Hina and at least one other is Aino Minako."
"Oh, yeah. Let me introduce the others. You might know Tomoyo, and this is Kotone. I'm kinda helping her get to where her brother is and she's helping me find my way here." Sai looked at the girl with Yomiko. "I'm guessing she's with you and knows about the situation."
"You said Karthuratsu Tanewaki got one of the girls from Those Who Strip Elves? Airi, Ritsuko or Celcia? If it's Celcia, it'll probably be her normal form from what you said. Though seeing her in the pooch form might be worth a chuckle or two." He sobbered up a bit. "Though yeah, I did get lucky by ending up as a guy."
Yomiko glanced back at Nenene and waved a little, even though the woman was still on the phone.
"Yeah, that's Sumirada Nenene, one of the girls from the ROD tv series. Which I haven't watched yet, unfortunatly. Heh. And Ritsuko! That's who Rat was. I haven't seen THAT show either but I remember the name from when he introduced himself. Or herself. Or whatever."
"Speaking of which, Rat went into Juuban to try to find Minako. We're probablly going to have to meet up with them eventually, though I was suppose to find Motoko's sister as well. The Love Hina girl."
With a sigh, 'Yomiko' leaned wrapped her arms around 'Bolt' and burried her face in his chest. It was a little gratuitous, true, but it had really been a trying day.
"For the moment though, I'm just glad we found each other."
Shukuen sighed, though reluctant to break up the waff-fest, there were more important things to worry about.
"Sorry to interupt, but we should probably go join up with the others now."
"Yes, yes. But I still want to know which one you are. I figure you're not Kwok." Sai kept his arm around Ra-chan as he talked. "I would like to get to the others, but I would also like to ask Tomoyo for a favour. She mentioned bodyguards and I wondered if I could borrow some... equipment from them."
Tomoyo smiled slightly. "I can ask for a few things..." She agreed, "But I'll want to come along. This looks looks interesting." she repiled happily.
For his part, Keroberos was staring at the pile of paper Yomiko made. "Is there a Paper card? That looks useful..."
"Wait, I already..." Shukuen paused, then sighed despondantly. If Sai didn't bother to pay attention, why bother correcting him?
"Come on then, or would you rather we leave you to your cuddling?"
Upon hearing Kero's comment though, Shukuen lost his train of thought and stared blankly at the plushie.
"Yes, you already said 'Karma'."
Sai's face lost any trace of emotion for a moment. "Which tells me nothing. If you are one of the 'chosen ones', use the name I know you by. The ones that aren't accounted for yet are Ginnezumusha, Ryder, Kwok, Shukuen, Bean and May. You're one of them. Though I bet you're either Ryder, or Shukuen. The others wouldn't beat about the bush like that with me. Kwok might, but I know him enough to recognise him." Pulling Ra-chan closer, he faced the girl. "So until you start trying to be part of a team, we're staying here."
Shukuen sighed, collecting her thoughts before she said something... improper.
"This is where the problem lies, 'Sai'", she stated as calmly as possible. "You do not know me and haven't tried to know me. And I find no reason to socialize with people such as yourself."
Turning around, she heades back to the comfort of the shades. "I'll be waiting by the trees. Just finish your makeout session so we can get this mess over with."
Face remaining neutral, Sai made up his mind. "Fuck this. I don't want unreliable people with me. You can stay here for as long as you want." Smiling at Yomiko he said "Lets get going and meet up with the others then. We'll get by with less people somehow."
Turning to Tomoyo, he finished. "Don't worry about the favour I wanted. We'll be on our way. Stay out of trouble, eh?" With that said he turned towards the car and begun walking with Ra-chan.
"Oh for CRYING OUT LOUD."
For someone so small, it was amazing how well 'Yomiko' could stop both herself and Bolt in place. With annoyance written all over her features, she looked up at the blond man and practically shook her finger in his face.
"You, stop being an idiot."
Pivoting quickly, she turned to grab Sakura's arm before the girl had gotten very far and jerked her back towards the other two. "AND YOU! You stop being a jerk! We have enough problems as it IS and I don't need two stupid MEN having some sort of ego trip on me! I don't care if you DO look like a little girl, you are so obviously a guy it hurts my head to think about it. I hardly know ANYONE from Soulriders so you tell ME who you are, straight out, knowing that I won't mummify you in paper if you do so, okay? Look, I'm not trying to be a bitch but I've had a VERY stressful day and neither one of you are helping."
Maybe it was a woman's talent, but somehow Yomiko managed to glare equally at both man and card captor, despite the fact that they were standing on oposite sides of her.
Sai relaxed and waited. He did have better stuff to do then argue, but those could wait a bit longer.
Shukuen glared at the offending appendage on her arm, resisting her first impulse. "Could you please release me? I'm not anyone's doll to be dragged around, I can walk fine on my own."
"Very well, sir," she grounded the title out as calmly as she could. "For the good of this mission, I shall comply."
Mock saluting with her free arm, she stated her alias, "Agent Shukuen, reporting as a representative of Lady Order."
"A word of warning," she added, her voice straining to stay even. "As far as I am concerned, this is strictly business. Regardless of how stressful your day was, you have no right take out your frustrations with me."
Her glare softened into curiousity. "Unless of course, you really are looking to make enemies."
Ignoring the puffed up little girl, Bolt presented his arm to Yomiko. "Well, my curiosity has been satisfied," he nodded, "Shall we go and meet with the others, m'lady?"
With hardly a word (and for the moment, ignoring Cy), Yomiko picked up Sakura under the arms, carried the girl over to a convient bench and plopped her down so that the card captor was standing and looking at Yomiko directly in the eye. The woman's eyes were narrowed, but calm.
"Shukuen, you have no right to be pulling an attitude now. You have been rude and unforgiving. If I was a suspicious person, I'd seriously doubt whether you were actually acting under Order as you don't behave like you are. I want no tension, as we have to work as a team, but you and Cy didn't seem to realize that. I appologize for losing my temper, but if you are going to act no better than a child, then we are going to have troubles. For heaven's sake, even Sakura herself acts better than how you are."
"And this is business, but I hope that it won't become a sore point. If we ALL behave, then we will end up better off in the long run. Okay? We can't just work together. We have to be a team."
Sticking out her hand, Yomiko gave Shukuen a steady gaze, something that looked a bit out of place on the woman's usually-befuddled features. "Truce? Shall we go find the others?"
Taking a few calming breaths, Shukuen gazed straight into the older girl's eyes.
"Fine, truce," she said flatly. "Let's just get going before I start regretting this."
OOC: *Walks in and baps you all* Thread delayed by eight days...>_> GM magic giving you a shove. POSTS, people. >_> Unless there's a problem, in which case, I'm understanding, but only If I know what it is. Talk to me, y'all.
IC:
Back at the car, Nenene had just closed up her phone when she was approached by a hapless looking brown haired young man. He tapped on the window politely, then froze, and Nenene noted with amusement that he was staring at the front of her shirt. She snickered to herself and rolled down the window. "Yeah?" she prodded gruffly, and the guy looked up sharply. "Uh...I was sent to talk to 'Order's Team'" He stammered.
Nenene rolled her eyes. "Figures. Well, stick around, they'll be back soon."
The young man nodded, and leaned against the car to wait. Nenene was both amused and slightly disappointed that he didn't try anything else she could punch him for...
"Very well. Lets get going." Taking Yomiko's hand in his, they walked off towards the car. Once they got there, Bolt raised an eyebrow at the guy. "And you are?"
The guy bowed, sweating a little at Bolt's sudden appearance. "Hideki Motosuwa. Uhm...Are you...'Order's Team'?" he asked nervously.
Hideki wasn't a small guy, but Bolt was quite a bit larger, and loads more intimdating. Nenene raised an eyebrow at Bolt, casting a quick, smirking glance at Yomiko...
The eyebrow crept up a bit further. "Perhaps. What do you want?" Bolt casualy shuffled his feet a bit... Ending up half covering Yomiko from the new guy with his own body.
"I'm supposed to give you something." Hideki replied nervously, licking his lips a little, and fishing into his pocket.
He withdrew...A tiny person.
Well, it looked that way, anyhow. A little girl, no bigger than one's hand stood in Hideki's palm. She was dressed mostly in shades of pink, in what looked like a tiny harem outfit. The look was finished off by dark pink hair tied up in a bouncy ponytail coming out of a metallic looking cap.
She raised one tiny fist in an enthusiastic greeting, or a possible random shout. "Ayyy!~" she beamed, then took a good look at Bolt and shrieked, jumping up and glomping onto Hideki's nose, which in turn made HIM jump, and fall over backwards with a crash.
"Master, he's SCARY!" She wailed.
"Sumomo-san!" Shouted another tiny voice, and Hideki's pocket wriggled, and ANOTHER tiny person came crawling out, this one dressed in a minature kimono, and with black hair tied in pigtails, each with two large bells attached. "You KNOW Hideki-san is easily startled." She growled, putting her hands on her hips indignantly.
"Ahem." Sai reminded the trio of his presence.
Hideki was busy attempting to relieve Sumomo's death grip on his nose, but the other tiny person turned to Bolt with a curious look. "What do you want?"
"Hideki! Sumomo! Oh my goodness, she's so CUTE!"
Ra-chan didn't need long to realize the people in front of her and she slipped out from behind Bolt's impressive bulk and went in for a close-up look at the pink little persocon.
"Hello Sumomo-san!" Careful not to scare the little machine, 'Yomiko' held out her hand towards Sumomo so she could jump on that, instead of clinging to Hideki's poor face. "You can call me Ra-chan."
Somewhat cautiously, Sumomo looked up at Yomiko, and suddenly, with a hesitant energy, she released Hideki, and leaped into the dark haired woman's hands. "Master?"
For her part, the dark haired persocom put tiny fists on her hips and looked flatly up at Bolt. "Well?"
Sai finaly recognised the names. "So what is going on here?"
Hideki sat up, gingerly keeping Kotoko from falling off his chest. "A woman came to my apartment, and asked to borrow Sumomo and Kotoko here." he told Bolt a bit nervously. "She asked me to come here at this time, and ask the woman with square glasses where the 'Order' team was, and give them to them."
Hideki stumbled through the explanation, then rubbed at the back of his head sheepishly. "Sorry, I got the feeling it was important, so I agreed, and they did, too." he finished, holding Kotoko out to Bolt.
Sai carefully picked up Kotoko. "Well, I guess you know what you're getting into." He turned to Hideki. "Thanks, but we need to get going. Our friends are waiting."
Slipping Kotoko into one of his larger pockets in a way that she can see out of it, he eyed the car. "I think I can fit in it... Somehow."
Tomoyo stepped forward from the group of children, tugging on Bolt's coat as Hideki excused himself quickly.
"We have a car that might fit more." she suggested, smiling.
Yomiko looked down at Tomoyo, still holding Sumomo cupped in her hands. The passing thought of being able to shove the pink little persocon into Bean's face when they met up made her smile but she concentrated on the task at hand.
"Tomoyo-chan, do you think your parents will let us borrow it?"
She was assuming a number of things, but hey....it was better than nothing.
Tomoyo smiled. "I don't know about borrowing it, but we could give you a ride." she pointed out. "My body guards would probably be happier that they could keep an eye on you, anyway. They're sort of nervous when I'm around new people."
"Sure, that works. And I still want to talk them out of some equipment." He looked around. "Ok, folks. Time to move. I'd love to talk, really, but we got people to meet up with."
He made another small bow to Tomoyo. "M'lady, shall you summon thine carriage and guards then?"
Tomoyo giggled at Bolt, and turned and waved to a seemingly empty area of the park. Instantly, armed women dressed in black suits and sunglasses began emerging from the bushes and made their way over.
Kotone looked impressed...so impressed that she quickly ducked behind Bolt.
Nenene, from her vantage point inside the car, frowned. "This doesn't look good..."
Sai's only real expression of surprise was a raised eyebrow at the fact that all the guards are female. Scanning around the area he counted five newcomers.
"I must say, I'm impressed with the skill you ladies display. Though I would like to talk to whoever is in charge here. I and the others are somewhat ill prepared for our assigment and I want to remedy at least some of the equipment problems."
A tall woman with sandy brown hair tied in a loose ponytail draped over one shoulder stepped forward, and removed her sunglasses.
She glanced once at Tomoyo, who nodded brightly, then looked back to bolt.
"Very well. We'll hear you out, at least."
"Well, I am pretty sure you can't provide us with guns, grenades or flashbangs, so I was thinking more along the lines of communication devices. Hands free, encrypted and durable. Maybe some body armor, though that would take longer to fit everyone with."
Sai rubbed his chin. "Some medical supplies or access to a surgeon would be nice. Perhaps a we could borrow a van? We will need transportation." He rattled off a few more ideas. "Climbing gear. Acetylene torch. Tazers or stun guns. Binoculars. IR or Nightvision gear. Handcuffs. Duct tape."
With an innocent smile he finished. "A short list, I know but the others might have some ideas too."
The woman blinked, and glanced again at Tomoyo, who nodded serenely. She shrugged. "How long do you have?"
As she spoke, the loud booming thrum of an almost too-powerful engine caught their ears, and they looked up to see a distinctively peculiar aircraft.
Flying VERY low over the houses, a red jetfighter with an almost insectlike cockpit and tail assembly, and lean, angular and wicked looking wings and fuselage zoomed overhead before circling around to come back at the park, displaying some wicked-looking weaponry...
Ra-chan stayed quiet through most of the exchange, not entirely sure what to make of the whole ordeal.
Okay, frankly, she had NO idea what was going on. Sakura wasn't really an anime she had watched.
But the plane that flew overhead was something she was pretty sure she recognized.
"Hey, sweetie, isn't that the Swordfighter II?"
"I thought it was Swordfish..."
He looked at the visible weapons on the thing and decided not to take too many chances. "Everyone scatter but don't attack it unless it fires first!" Grabbing Yomiko as he let out the warning, he went for cover by the car. He remembered the last time non-native tech showed up. Sure, he liked Bubblegum Crisis, but he wasn't fond of the boomers.
Ginn tries to find someplace to land.
Ra-chan let herself be ushered but not without some resistance. She wanted a better look at the plane with the fading red paint, something she had always wanted to see ever since she saw Cowboy Bebop.
"You know, I'd like to think that if that's Spike in that plane, that he's on our side...."
Preparing to pull out the big guns, Sai nodded. "I would like to think that too, but we can't be too careful. That thing could do a lot of damage to all of us. And fast."
Kotone, who'd followed the pair to shelter while Tomoyo and Sakura were surrounded by guards, tugged anxiously on Bolt's coat. "Bolt-san...is it like the boomers...?" she asked anxiously.
"Maybe this is flawed logic, but the person inside must have seen us....if they were going to do damage with the plane, they would have done it already."
Yomiko raised a hand to her eyes and shaded the sun out of them. "If I'm not mistaken, it kinda looks like they're trying to land. If there's going to be a confrontation, it's going to be hand-to-hand fighting. And frankly, I think we have better odds at that."
"No, Kotone. It's not." Turning to Ra-chan he shrugged. "Lets wait anyways."
OOC: Bean? o_O
IC: Ginn succeeds in landing the plane, throwing the two occupants out of the cockpit, and standing up to survey the surroundings.
Ginn surveys. O__O
OOC: Yes? >_> Sorry...Did you want an intro post? @_@ I should have thought of that. Brain fart. I apologize.
IC:
Once landed, amidst the renewed snowstorm of papers kicked up by the descent of the Swordfish II Makes it difficult to survey accurately, but you CAN see groups of people.
One is a group of black-suited women surrounding two small girls, weapons drawn.
The other is over next to a nearby car. A large, whitehaired man in a trenchcoat is crouched protectively next to a smaller, black haired woman, (Who's hair appears to be quite a mess due to the landing) And a young girl, of approximately 12 years of age with jaw length brown hair, held out of her eyes by a pink, triangular barette. Inside the car is a younger woman, looking to be barely out of her teens, with longish brown hair and glasses, and she's glaring at you.
Asuna eyed the guns the black-suited women had drawn warily. "What's going on?"
"I'm not sure, but I don't think we're welcome. Should we try to make an exit?"
Asuna nodded slowly, eyeing all the people with guns, and the boy who'd asked her to help him. "Uh...Maybe." She agreed, uncertainly.
"I second the 'get out of here' motion," Kwok nodded, eyeing the surroundings. "Maybe we should fly somewhere else again or something. These people don't look too friendly."
Recognising Spike without problems, Sai introduced himself. Without leaving his cover. "I'm Sai. And you are?"
"You're not Sai. You're Bolt."
"Cool. Someone else who's familiar with that series. But for your information, the body is Bolt, the soul is not." Standing up he faced the trio. "The real question is 'Which side are you on?'"
"The side you're not going against."
"Hmmm. Who are you exactly? I'd like to know which soul is inhabiting what body. I already told you who I am, it's only polite that you do the same."
It was something different for Ra-chan to be so.....slight. Yomiko wasn't exactly a tall woman so more often than not, the displaced woman found herself having to try harder than usual to see what was going on.
Trying to smooth her hair down, she walked over to where 'Bolt' and 'Spike' were mentally growling at each other and sighed. She knew things were dangerous, but all this distrust was starting to get on her nerves.
"Hello there." Taking her place next to Bolt, 'Yomiko' glanced at the three new people. Spike was the only one she recognized; the other two were completely unknown. "If you two guys are done knashing your proverbial teeth at each other, I think we better just have out and tell each other who we are. Somehow, I doubt Chaos has any doubts as to who each one of us is, so anyone who is really lost is probablly on our side."
"I'm Ra-chan, by the way. And over there, Sakura, is Shukuken. Now that you know who we are, you're at an advantage. I hope that's enough to prove that we're trustworthy."
Ginn did the Spike thing, which is put his hands in his pockets and slouch.
"Well, good to know we're not among enemies. I'm Ginn, and the brat (gestures at Negi) is Kwok. Oh, and his little friend."
"That's Kwok?" Yomiko glanced over at the boy and immediately had to hide a grin. "It figures...."
Clearing her throat a few times, she smiled and shrugged slightly. "Well, we've also met up with Carthrat and supposedly one of the Sailor senshi is part of our group. Oh yes, and someone from Love Hina. C-rat went to meet up with them."
Glancing over at Nenene, Yomiko guestured for the woman to come over. "Nenene-san, it's all right. These are friends."
"Ginn, this is Nenene, also from Read or Die. I'm not entirely sure who the girl with Cy is, or the ladies with Sakura and her friend. But as far as I know, we're all friends here...."
"Good. Do you know whats going on?"
"Not a clue."
At that, Yomiko had to laugh. The whole thing was just so absurd.
"I was hoping YOU did."
Kwok almost fell over.
"Hey, I never told you who I am..."
Nenene walked over to the group, relaxing and apparently taking Yomiko at her word, examining Swordfish curiously before joining the group.
She gave Spike and appraising glance before shrugging, and examining the children curiously. "This is weird, even for Sensei." she muttered. Asuna took her place beside Negi, While Kotone stuck close to Bolt.
A few insistent words from Tomoyo later, the bodyguards led her and Sakura over to the group, the child smiling pleasantly, while Sakura simply looked uncomfortable and irritated. Tomoyo piped up curiously, looking at all the assembled. "What now?"
Ginn raised an eyebrow at Kwok.
"Actions speak louder than words."
OOC: Whoops. XD
In the distance, a bright flash of light caught everyone's attention, followed by a deep, cracking boom...
Kwok shrugged and slowly turned towards the direction of the flash of light, as if he barely has any concern as to what might be going on.
"Wonder what's going on?"
Ginn has his attention drawn by the flash of light!
OOC: Hellooo. >_> *echo*
IC:
The intitial noises were the most intense, but there were occaisional follow ups, sounding as though they were occuring from quite a ways away.
They weren't immediately identifiable, but they stood out in stark contrast to the noises of the city...
Looking in the direction of the noise, Sai let out a curse. "Something big is going on and it probably has something to do with us." Turning back to Ginn, he pointed at Swordfish. "Think you can fly me up so I could see what's going on?"
"Just you."
Ginn gets back in the cockpit.
Bolt nodded then followed into the cockpit. "Everyone wait here. We'll be back in a moment."
Letting Spike close the cockpit, he made himself comfortable. "Let's take this baby for a spin, eh? Just head up for now, we don't want to get too far from here."
Ginn uses he budding piloting skill to make the craft take off, and circle upwards towards a target ceiling.
Spike smoothly lifted off, and brought Swordfish to the desired height in a slow spiral, his command of the Aircraft improving with every moment he operated it...
After getting his bearing back, Sai looked into the direction the sounds came from. A pair of binoculars was ready to make an appearance if for some reason he couldn't get a good look.
Tokyo looked pretty much as one would expect a teeming metropolis to look. Houses, businesses, all of the usual...though there did seem to be some commotion in one of the residential districts, near a small wooded area. It was still a fair ways away, so some smoke, and motion from large objects were all that could be made out...
Pulling out the binocs, Sai tried to make out some details...
The binoculars provide Bolt with a closer look, but it doesn't add too much to what he already knows. The action appears to be taking place at a shrine of some sort, and there's been damage to it, as well as some of the surrounding trees.
Bolt can also see flashes of color moving amongst the foliage, bright orange, red and white among them, and there appeared to be a fire nearby. A loud noise caught his attention, and a writhing mass of metal rose slightly above the treetops, a grotesque looking head screaming...
"Whatever that is, I think we're headed that way."
"Might as well take us down, Ginn. Need to tell the others." As he said that, he pulled the binoculars away and snacked on them.
Ginn raised an eyebrow to the snacking, but did as he was told, taking the plane down back towards the others.
Once the fighter was down and the two men got out, Sai motioned the others to come closer. "I think that we need to head towards that disturbance. Whatever is going on there will either involve one of the sides in this fight or both."
Nenene looked curiously at the big man, frowning a little. "Where is it, exactly?" She wondered.
Ginn points in the general direction of the disturbance.
OOC: *pokes you all* Uhm...Hello out there? Kwok, Ra-chan? Do I need to get out the poking stick? >_>;
Nenene frowned. "Can you be a bit more specific? Without some sort of directions, getting there in a car would be hard...Unless that plane of yours is roomier than it looks."
"You have a car?"
In lieu of an answer, Nenene simply jerked her thumb behind her where her car was still parked, nodding.
"I think if you drive in the general direction, you'll be able to see it soon enough."
Kwok looked at Spike, then looked at Bolt, then looked at Nenene.
"I'll go by car, I think."
There were a few general nods from the children at this, though Asuna gave Negi an irritated frown.
Nenene shrugged, resigning herself to chauffer duty, and Tomoyo looked up at Bolt curiously. "You seem to be the leader." she suggested. "What'll we do?"
((OH MY GOD! I LIVE!))
"There isn't much room in the Swordfish II, but likewise, there isn't much room in Sumirada-san's car. Those who are going to be the most use should probablly go in the Swordfish, as it can get to the disturbance faster."
'Yomiko shrugged, having remained silent through most of the goings-on. She was nervous about heading into an actual fight, but it was a bit exciting as well. At this point though, she just wanted to get on with it.
"What?" Kwok shot Asuna a curious look. "Don't want to go by car or something?"
Finding a clear spot away from the people, Sai stuck out his hand and pushed mentally. Twisted pieces of metal, pipe and wiring melted together as they flowed from his hand. A few seconds later what looked like a van without tires stood in front of him.
Turning back to the others he pointed behind him with his thumb. "How about we take this instead? It'll get us there faster then the car."
OOC: One aircar/van aviable for use. :p
Tomoyo, Sakura and Kotone watched the process with interest, the Cardcaptor making a face. "Ew..." she shivered. Tomoyo's eyes lit up with curiousity as she watched the power activate, and the final results, seeming to file the information away. Kotone simply looked on with interest, having seen Bolt's power at work.
Nenene looked slightly weirded out. "Well, that'll probably hold the rest of you." she agreed.
OOC: ^^ Was wondering if that would see use. >_>
Ginn shrugs, and makes for his plane.
"Um..." Sai looked at all the people still standing around.
Taking a deep breath, he yelled out his next words. "Ok! Everyone who is going to be in the fight, load up in the air car! NOW!" Letting his voice drop back to the normal level, he walked over to Yomiko. "Want to ride shotgun?"
Kwok looks around, then points to himself.
"Am I going to be in the fight?" he said innocently.
Asuna tossed her head, her ponytails snapping lightly, and frowned. "If you're not, why am I here?" she asked Negi sourly, her hands on her hips.
"'cause you love me, of course!" Kwok grinned widely in return.
"Just kidding," he wilted immediately, then started making for the aircar. "Let's go."
Asuna frowned and sighed, nodding as she followed Negi to the Air car. Tomoyo whispered in Sakura's ear, and the brown haired girl simply nodded, after casting a glance at the group.
"We'll head off there on our own." The black haired girl called. "We'll meet up with you."
'Yomiko' nodded to 'Bolt' and walked over to the aircar.
"Of course. Even though I'm not as tall as usual, it's force of habbit. I'd offer to drive but, well, neither I nor Yomiko have ever drove one of these, I'm pretty sure."
((Ugggg, long absense. I suck))
