;_;
For the record, I would like to vote that we take Drac's point away from him and change the name of the game back. Doorway Beyond Tomorrow is much cooler.
Tempting. Very tempting.
Because I, personally, didn't know the name of the game until at least two-three weeks in. >.>
I did, actually. I think I have the logs, too. And I said, "Since I am Brian, and therefore suck, I think your name is better, so let's keep it."
And you said words to the effect of, "^_^;;;"
And Dracos's comment about no one telling him he had the wrong name in is eaten by Pishoque.
Curse you primal holy energy that prevades -- oh, crap. I just realized this website is essentially named Quintesence. >_<
...
Did I just miss something? ^^;
For everyone:
The game was originally named Doorway Beyond Tomorrow.
When I asked Dracos to create the board for me, he typoed the name into the Day After Tomorrow (which opens tonight in theaters across the country, incidentally).
Some feel we should fix the name. Some are lazy. ;)
Heh, so they didn't steal the name from us afterall ;)
Though, when looking at the old premise file you sent, the original name seemed to be The Day Beyond Tomorrow.
Yeah. I typoed, too.
Hence the suggestion that ... some are lazy. :o
So, hum. Yeah, I was just going to note that. Apparently you gave me good reason for typo'ing ^^;. Personally, I think the Day After Tomorrow is cool. Additionally, I am lazy. ^_^. Thirdly, how the hell can we acronymize 'The Doorway Beyond Tomorrow'? TDBT? You can't use that in conversation. I mean, look at it?
"Hey, dude, want to go shoot some hoops?"
"Naw man, busy playing TDBT."
"What?"
"TDBT"
"What the heck? You got something in your throat or something?"
Dracos
"TDAT, for easier introducing the game to friends."
All this discussion of acronyms, typos, and changes and the like have left me confused. Taking Drac's suggestion of the principle of manifest sloth to heart, I hereby propose that we rename the game: Dave.
Admirable suggestion. If we have another game named Bob, then this can indeed be Dave.
