"It's very possible that he'll intercede," Afina says. "We can't be certain either way, but the stakes are high enough for it. Jaela's goldenfire spear is our trump against that, and so the rest of us should focus on supporting her and keeping out any other interfering devils while she duels Taelfagn. If he does appear, capturing him will take priority even over Silvber and his sigil, so prioritise accordingly. Killing him would be nice but he'll just respawn in Hell so it's only a temporary setback, not the same sort of coup a capture would be."

[Corwin]

"The angriest," Jaela agrees. "And while I'm with Afina on the importance of the sigil, we're strong enough to take out Taelfagn if he decides to show his ugly mug. It'll just mean a division of labor."

[Nephrite]

Moore nods. "I've been preparing for being involved with him as well. All right, that's the only real question I had, I'll follow your lead."

[Anastasia]

Mei nods firmly.

"One question," Canderella says, "Do we have an escape plan if this goes horribly wrong?"

"Hard, fast, and precise. We need to watch for rituals like under Benfal. They'll smash their toys before they let us get them back. Their assassin failed last time too, so they'll likely double up on something similar."

Surraruthru turns to Canderella, "I put an Evacuation Rune spell trough the tapestry once we arrive. It'll let us teleport to a specific location quickly if need be. If they block teleportation, it'll be rendered null. Still, couldn't hurt."

"It'll depend on the defences they have on their fortress," Afina answers Canderella. "In general though, it'll fall on Surraruthru or Jaela to dispel any dimensional wardings so we can plane shift out. Everyone that can plane shift raise a hand," she does so, "So the rest know who to rally to in that case."

[Iron Dragoon]

Surraurthru raises a claw as requested.

"We can't plan for the things we can't conceive of," Jaela reasons. "We know how to deal with assassins or planar travel interdictions, and so they won't be a challenge for us. So if Hell does come up with something, it won't have a ready-made spell to deal with it. Best to just think on our feet."

[Anastasia]

Canderella raises a hand as requested.

Moore will raise his hand to Afina's question. "If it comes to that, I have a few ways to boost the strength of spells."

Since everyone else can, "So that means someone needs to make sure they take Mei when we evacuate if it comes to that. Jaela's right though, this is a new fortress so our intelligence on it is low. We're going to gate in at a distance to avoid any redirects or traps they have, then fly there at best speed to push our way in and find Silvber."

[Anastasia]

"We'll just have to work on it if we do. Alright," Canderella claps her hands together, smiling, "I'm ready to kill some devils. Are all of you?"

[Nephrite]

"I'll plan to take her if it comes to that." Moore offers. He nods to Canderella. "Yes."

"I may keep a skull or horn for decoration and spell components. But yes, we should be ready."
