Okay, I have a job interview on Saturday, and I have to go do some things to prepare for it. I'm going to be late today, not sure but how much or how long. At least 30 minutes and it could be way more.

If I'm over an hour late assume today's a down day. Sorry about this, but hey, job hunt's going well at least.

This Friday is in question due to an out of town trip. Depends on if it goes through. I'll have a better grasp on it by midweek.

Holiday downtime notes:

Wednesday, October 31st is tentatively on as of now. Halloween's more of an evening of thing anyway. This might impact evening session at work.

Wednesday, November 14th is canceled. Routine eye doc thing. There's a non zero chance this needs to be rescheduled, I'll let you all know if it is. There's a small chance I'll be able to do an evening session, but that'll be a judgment call. Don't feel obligated to linger on a maybe if you have other things to do.

Thursday, November 22nd is canceled. Thanksgiving. Likewise, Friday, November 23rd will probably be canceled as well. I'm out of retail so Black Friday isn't it; I'd like a leisurely 4 day weekend after half a decade of dealing with retail on it.

Monday, December 24th and Tuesday, December 25th are both canceled. Merry Christmas!

Monday, December 31st and Tuesday, January 1st are both canceled. Happy New Year!

Unlike the last several years, I shouldn't need as many or any possible down days due to retail holiday fatigue. Fingers crossed.

As an aside, I find I enjoy writing the yearly holiday downtime wrapup. It a nice milestone that the best time of the year's coming.
