As long as the magic item you'd create is related to your portfolio elements, meant to say that in the last post. How is it related to them? I don't need a ton, just a reasonable justification.

<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Corwin

It's an investment in my future~

Something a little less broad, please. I mean, if you can use it to justify pretty much anything it's too broad.

But seriously, I'm doing an awesome thing that's surely going to be an inspiration if it's ever heard. Emily would wish she had exciting adventures to loot evil while overcoming such traps! I think doing the unlikely thing and beating the odds while pursuing the cause of Good on Fire as a true adventurer is fitting, and that key is the key to it all. Also I've always been nostalgic, so using Shamal's breakthrough into magic is a nice homage.

Works for me.

You weave magic into the key, twisting it and making it fit both magically and physically.

After turning the key, Seira follows the visions from the past and steps past the vault door!

Success. Within sits several tomes and a single large chest, made of solid wood and decorated with nymphs with little sapphires for eyes.

Nymphs are nostalgic as well, now that she thinks about it. They always seemed nice and innocent, but then turn out to be really alien while talking to them.

Seira checks everything over with her magic, and then runs the divination a third time in this new room!

Ah. You notice - All the magic is perfectly in order here, yet you notice something. A slight shift in the brick of the back wall here, as if something isn't quite right.

Her handy divination comes to play, as does Seira's considerable talent for spotting traps!
