"No," he says, "I'm used to it, and it's better than a normal body. Haven't aged a day since then."

<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Nephrite

"Very well. Do you have somewhere to return to and can you get there on your own power?" He looks towards the other elementals at that too.

Anastasia

"Yes," The elemental says, rather shortly. "We have means of getting out of this place."

"Well, then by all means." Moore says. "Please be safe."

He flies over to the pile of weapons ... surely, if they've been at this for that long there must be a near countless number of them.

He's rather intentionally acting as if his business with the other elemental is done. Whether it makes a protest or not, well, he will see.

Anastasia

At this the elementals leave, walking through the walls and gone.

"...they just left all of this?" Kaja says after a few moments, as you see so many weapons and armor here. "Is obsidian worthwhile as weapons or armor?"

Nephrite

Not sure what the correct Knowledge or Applicable thing would be to answer that.

Anastasia

Since you have bardic knack, just give me a Profession(Weaponsmith) check. Close enough.

Not by itself. It's essentially glass, including the impurities made by it. However, it does have some upsides as well as mystical potential, and magic can overcome the limitations of obsidian just fine.

"By themselves, no, but magic can fix everything." Moore says. "I'm honestly not sure even my portable hole has enough space for all of this." He looks over at Cresiel. "I think we ought to see if we can have some resources sent from Celestia to take this over. Can you reach out to Romiel please?"

Anastasia

Cresiel nods, "May I borrow your sending stone?"

While Cresiel goes to that, Kaja goes and searches, "I'm claiming a few scimitars if there are any," Kaja calls back, "Is anything here enchanted?"

Xandra goes over in the meantime, "Beautiful, but ominously dark," she says, admiring an obsidian greatsword.

Moore will look around to see if any of it is indeed magical!

It's not magical in the normal sense, but there's some fading magic around the newly completed blades. It suggests you that - oooooooh. Everything here is flawed. Maliciously flawed - cracks and faults within them, rendering it far more likely to splinter and shatter. Intentionally introduced, this is not casual or accidental magic.

"What in the..." Moore says quietly. "All of these are flawed, intentionally so. I think we could fix it, but why would they make them like this?" He goes over to the forge itself to see if it's that specifically.

Anastasia

Nothing in the anvil.

Cresiel follows, "It suggests to me that perhaps the elementals were not happy with being bound, or at least one of them was not. I know not the rules for this binding, but it could have been the letter of the binding spoken, not the spirit of it."
