Oh that's nothing, you should see what some people believe Batman can do.  Everything from take down Superman without kryptonite to slaughter entire armies singlehandedly.  Heck, people believe this about the whole bat family.  *Points to my first post in this thread about the killing of over a thousand orcs on the first day thing for Batgirl's ability to singlehandedly slaughter over 10,000 orcs according to some people*  Somehow Batman has become the Batgod.   :D

Blame Justice League and the need to have Bats be completely out of his element for the sake of bad crossovers.  His character has been mangled by that and the Bat Army they insist on saddling him with - he's turned from what you might see in Batman: The Animated Series(I know, I know, but it is the best example offhand.) into a freakish, godly planning SUPER BATGENERAL. After all, how else could he even hope to keep up with the metahumans like Green Lantern, Superman, Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter, etc al?

The new Batgirl isn't helping, either, but that's a rant for another day.
