Agreed, but as it's Ranma, I figure that's intentionally going to get knocked over.
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

https://forums.spacebattles.com/threads/myrmidon-naruto-hxh.554373/ - kind of interesting.  Boruto era team 8 doing some dimension hopping into Ants era.
Well, Goodbye.

It's nice to see a non-shitty World of Warcraft fic.
What if they're not stars at all? What if the night sky is full of titanic far-off lidless eyes, staring in all directions across eternity?

Tangled Fate updated.  Pretty sure this speaks of a fic that won't go anywhere, even if it was quite the meaty update.  We've got locked Ranma-shaped exalted being made in charge of a city about to be attacked from within and without, with ryoga and kodachi as backup.
Well, Goodbye.

I dunno, I'm enjoying it in spite of some flaws.

Caught back up on this.  prolly will relink the others soon.  It's over-riding theme seems to be:
"People are telling us the truth about the terrible cosmic horrors.  Why didn't we believe them?"

"You may have my gigantic warship.  But dragons will come to kill you.  It is trapped like such, you see."
Well, Goodbye.

Worm 2's warm up is complete and Worm 2 will launch (I believe) Saturday.  The chapter linked to is the last one and really the best pay off for any of it.

Running into Madison's regrets and how Worm changed her was nice. I didn't get as much out of it as others - I fundamentally didn't like Taylor as the story went on and never identified with her much - but it was a nice way to put an extra little cap on Taylor's story before a new one starts. I really hope she isn't a big deal in Worm 2.

On a personal level, that chapter was extremely Worm and reminded me that I don't really agree with Wildbow on a lot of fundamental points about life. At least he has good taste in video games.

Path of the King updated last month. It continues to march to the HGW and it's heating up. I also liked the opening bit for what it was.

This also updated. I enjoy it but don't have a strong opinion about it. It's a nice Ranma fic, nice Ranma fics are good.

https://forums.spacebattles.com/threads/ring-maker-worm-lord-of-the-rings-alt-power.517894/page-613#post-40901701

I've given up on Ring Maker as a story, though I still keep tabs on it since the author's young and promising. Sometimes he comes through on that and I feel that chapter did nicely. It was a grounded, reasonable rumination on grief and loss. No magical fix it button, only dealing with the grief and learning how to go on.

It's one way to solve the Panacea and Glory Girl mess. It sucks Glory Girl died, but at least this might free Amy. As a general rule, I find Amy badly misused in most fanfics and I can count the number of Amy scenes I like in fanfics on one hand. This is one of them.

On a side note, I feel bad for Miss Militia in this fanfic. It feels like she's the only one who has it together about Annatar and what she's doing, and gets an antagonistic role for it. Points for using MM in a role beyond supporter slash Wards denmother, though.

Somewhat interesting Worm fanfic. Taylor gains the ability to talk to shards and it's better than it sounds, come back. Yeah, it sounds like crack and it almost starts that way, but it finds its footing quickly and elaborates from there. It helps if you bear in mind that users imprint on their shards as much as shards imprint on their users. If nothing else, I found it much more palatable than Mauling Snarks, which is apparently the same concept but I bailed on that one early.

This has updated all of a sudden. It's the fic where Harry is adopted by you-know-who

aka the Earl of Wychwood, a fairly reasonable and sane individual who happens to have some extreme political hobbies
. I find it actually really hard to tell if this portrayal of Voldemort is biased or plausible. It really relies on the worldbuilding of Britain being the magical world's equivalent of a 3rd world war zone where literally every side is guilty of war crimes and systematic deception.
