Dragonscale armor rules:

As a suit of supple scale armor, it follows these rules in armor creation:

AC equals= AC of dragon+4. An dragon with AC -2 will make dragon scale mail with an effective AC of 2. Therefore the effective AC of armor made from this dragon would be AC -1.

Each dragonscale type gives mild resistance to the elemental of said dragon. This generally matches up with it's breath weapon. In this case, it gives a +2 to all saves vs fire, and a +4 to saves vs red dragon's breath. However, it imposes a -1 to all saves vs cold or water.

Dragonscale armor is heavy. It weights in the league of 200 pounds per suit. Enchantments that go into the making lessen this to 50 pounds. The dense, bulky scales require a fair bit of strength to be worn and still move!

Construction costs are a base of 1,100 Griffons per age category of the dragon. In this case it was a age category 6 dragon, so 6,600 Griffons is the ground floor. Most will charge more than this for labor, spells, ect. 10,000 GP for most dragonscale armor isn't unheard of. Enchanting dragonscale armor is noted to be exceptionally difficult due to the natural magical, set nature of the scales. This will generally increase the cost by 40% per +1 desired to be added.
