Survived an evening in the city with my family.  I can't stand the density of people there, so I was practically shutting down by the end of the night -- something about the twentieth panhandler that approaches you really just invokes a feeling of intense despair....

I did get to give food to the one who asked for that instead of money, but blearg.

Saw Jersey Boys, which I'd never even heard anything about; decent show, great venue.  Seriously, the Curran theater is so superior to the Orpheum it's not even funny.  I thought I'd never been there before, but realized midway through the show I'd seen Phantom in the same venue almost twenty years ago (%@#&, I'm so old >_<).  An enjoyable show, though -- I don't know if I'd be a roaring fan or say it's 'must-see', but if you have the opportunity, it's enjoyable.

I'd never really realized how many Four Seasons songs I'd heard before without really realizing who they were.  Or that the guy who wrote 'Short Shorts' also wrote 'Can't Take My Eyes Off of You'.

So, on the whole, despite having to deal with both the city and my mother, it was a pretty enjoyable evening.  I'll just need this entire weekend to really recover from the &!$#ing city.  x_@
