Final scores haven't been posted for this semester yet, but teachers have posted grades online for all those final projects and exams I didn't get back, so as far as I can tell, I managed an A in every class. A good start to my masters' GPA!

I have an actual appreciation. I'm appreciative of the fact that I've just been moved to a room with stable internet.

The room is also about as far away from the flight-line as I can get without going off base.

I'm also appreciative that the last rocket that impacted didn't impact 40 yards closer to me. Might not be posting this otherwise.

That's a hell of a lot of fanfiction, Brian.

Short story:

I wondered if I could intentionally include as many tropes as possible, to the point of trying to cross the world of Haruhi over with the world of TvTropes.  It starts with:

Kyon becomes an unreasonably powerful badass who gets involved with the local Yakuza Princess, Haruhi becomes unreasonable tolerant and interested in a polyamorous relationship centered around him and the girls of the SOS brigade, Yuki and Mikuru take turns being unreasonably cute, then I throw in a slider who's already on the run from her enemies, a Higurashi crossover, and Koizumi becoming a real character....

Being the writer I can't actually say it's good, because, you know, bias.  But I have a lot of fun writing it. :)

That sounds fun, even with the love and hate relationship I have with Tvtropes.

I appreciate the fact that I not only compulsively save, but regularly back things up online.

It's gotten to the point where formatting my harddrive on accident is only annoying because of the time it takes, not the data that needs to be recovered.
