Lunch meeting at work for just our department!

It was Chinese food, and I got to eat ... eh, a piece of duck, and nothing else but plain rice.

(The rest was too much of a risk for my galbladder.)

The lunch wasn't terribly awesome thanks to that, but it was paid!

I'd bet. Hell, I imagine the health department would be called at least, and possibly a lawsuit depending on what sort of food poisoning and how serious it was.

Just got my rent renewal offer for my current apartment, and the bump in the rent is less than $50 a month. Quite awesome, given that this apartment was a pretty amazing deal in the first place.
