Carefully following his steps from the precious evening, Devon made it to the large pen at the end.  Both grates on the ceiling were closed and the modest amount of water was still spilling into it from the far wall.

ooc:  If you had wanted to stop sooner, I'll delete, but I assumed from your post this is where you were headed.

O'karn nodded to himself, turning around.  "We set up camp here and wait."

Donning his goggles, Devon once again activated the thermal vision and tried to detect any heat sources in the room above.

Devon noted nothing through the steel ceiling and stone floor, nor anything through the closed steel grates.

Raising the goggles to rest against his forehead, Devon pulled out a small mirror and stretched one hand through the bars to open the southern hatch the barest fraction of an inch, before using the mirror to quickly glance about the room, looking for anything that might be different.

Devon noticed that nothing was different from the night before.

Moving to the northern hatch, Devon repeated the process.

Devon spied a room that was the same as the night before.

Stowing the mirror, Devon quietly opened the hatch and grate before climbing into the room and glancing around.

Devon made it into the room succesfully.  He found it unchanged since the prior evening.

Pulling his goggles down over his eyes, Devon scanned the east door and wall with the thermal vision.

Looking for a decent period of time, Devon could make out two heat signatures behind the wall.

Stowing his goggles, Devon examined the base of the door, looking at the gap between the floor and the door.

Devon found a 2 centimeter gap between the base of the door and the floor.

Pulling out the mirror again, Devon used it to scan what he could of the room beyond, moving it from one side of the opening to the other, looking for things like feet, table/chair legs, rugs, etc...
