[08:18] <@Amonet> "I see," Amonet says in disappointment, before her eyes fall on the book. "It was left to you by your mother, right?" she asks, changing the topic. "What is the book about?"
[08:19] <@Alveria> This is also a cheap way of getting out of it. *nodnods*

Dracos
Laem.
Well, Goodbye.

<Ebiris> And so the party advances, Gourash leading the way while Keylin and Puk'lor guard the rear. The corridor continues a stretch more before they reach the end, which opens out into a large circular chamber... which is utterly choked with rats, covering the floors, walls, and ceiling. And they all turn to look at the interlopers with beady rat-like eyes.
<Ebiris> At the centre of this circular chamber hangs a jagged tear in reality, like a slitted black eye surrounded by rheumy purple capillaries that weave lazily through the air around it. Looking directly at it causes discomfort in some forgotten part of your mind, recognising the inherent wrongness and anathema to life in this manifestation.
<Ebiris> Even from a distance, it engenders an all too physical chill, eliciting goosebumps and a heavy, sick, feeling in the pit of your stomach. Whatever that thing is, getting closer seems like a bad idea.
<Ebiris> Amonet is worst hit, dropping Marjorie from her nerveless fingers as she's stunned by the sheer overwhelming intensity of the evil ahead of her.
<Ebiris> In the minds of all the party, however, the rat-mind speaks. *MURDERERS! YOU HAVE KILLED PART OF US! BEG FOR YOUR LIVES, OR PREPARE FOR OBLIVION, IT MAKES NO DIFFERENCE. ONLY KNOW THAT HERE YOU WILL BE ENDED.*

<Corwin> This is totally a place for famous last words
<Corwin> Make them cool, Alvie
<Alveria> <Alveria> "At last, my legions!"
<Alveria> *Alveria is now known as Carthrat
Well, Goodbye.

Dracos

<Corwin> Are they... evil? Though it probably doesn't matter.
<Ebiris> All evil, all the time!
<Gourash> WELCOME TO EB CHANNEL!
Well, Goodbye.

Dracos

<Alveria> Cursed dragon!
<Alveria> It doesn't conform to the safety regulations!
<Alveria> FIVE DEMERIT POINTs
Well, Goodbye.

Ebiris

<Ebiris> Finally, ever so slowly, the rainbow coloured light begins to disengage from Alveria, flowing into the anarchic iron which begins to churn and bubble, shifting into various barely formed and generic shapes. Alveria feels herself losing a part of herself, but perhaps also regaining something long lost... it's all so very fuzzy and unclear for a long moment as she tries to make sense of it all.
<Alveria> "JUST AS PLANNED!"

Dracos

<Alveria> "We might actually turn a profit!"
Well, Goodbye.

Dracos

<Ebiris> He's so getting demoted for this path back to Baator.
<Ebiris> He'll be a lemure when you see him next.
<Corwin> We won't see him next
<Gourash> We totally will!
<Corwin> He'll try to ambush us, faint, and get eaten by a grue
<Corwin> So no
<Ebiris> He can join up with Mr Part Time.
<Gourash> And we'll knock him further downn the demon chain.
<Gourash> If I hit him hard enough, can he switch sides?
<Ebiris> No.
<Gourash> "Weren't you a devil last we saw you?" "Yeah, they threw me out."
<Corwin> Hit him with the axe of change alignment
* Gourash writes Change Alignment on one side of his axe.  Writes by damage on the other.
<Gourash> I now have an axe of change alignment! *toothy grin*
<Alveria> You change their alignment from vertical to horizontal amirite
Well, Goodbye.

Dracos

<Gourash> bah :P
<Gourash> You guys could use the healthy walk.
<Alveria> I am plenty healthy!
<Gourash> It'll put some endurance on your little frames.
* Alveria has endured horrible things already >_<
<Ebiris> Then surely a walk should be nothing to fear?
<Amonet> Horrible things
Well, Goodbye.

Dracos
