This thread would be for...precisely what it says it's for. Yup.

I know our three locked players have worked out their sheets in some detail, but for future reference and for any lurkers who may be interested:

The system is Tristat-dX. By Tristat's categorization, the scenario is Post-Human, High Fantasy. In other words: d8, characters are built based off of 75CP and 30SP. I am not making use of Energy Points or Shock Value for this scenario. Really, I prefer keeping the number of stats to keep track of to a minimum. Use of magic wears someone out as does light to moderate excercise, and I'll note it when it's time for someone to start getting worn down. Knockback is in effect for those who want to employ Attributes exploiting or resisting it.

The only Attribute I am explicitly banning (aside from those technologically-oriented ones obviously unsuitable for the setting) is Extra Attacks. Beyond that, it's wide open.

As for those of you who are already in: post those sheets! I'll look 'em over at my earliest convenience. Also, I'm attaching a handy template Gate made for Tristat. Feel free to use it.

Character Name: Antryg "Pilfer" Palphion
Character Points: 75
Race: Human
Occupation: Student (formerly pickpocket and sneakthief)
Age: 19
Sex: Male
Height: 5'2
Weight: 116

Description:

Slim and energetic, Pilfer gives the impression of a small sandstorm; his tanned skin and dusty brown hair contribute the colors, and his near-perpetual motion does the rest. Habitually clad in an oversized jacket - a rugged piece of work, filled with innumerable pockets and designed for a tall and broad man - Pilfer conceals his small stature and relative youth beneath the flapping folds of his loose clothing. There is a practical side to his choice of apparel: he can keep a distressing number of small objects concealed about his person in relative security, hidden away from casual searches. Apart from the tools of his former trade, this may include any number of objects of all descriptions, some of which he never put IN his pockets in the first place...

Pilfer's features retain something of their youthful cast, giving him a wide-eyed and guileless expression which has served him well over the years. Though far from a handsome man, his crooked grin has a certain cocky charm to it. His eyes are a pale golden-brown, barely darker than his hair. Between his coloring and his dress, he blends into the urban backdrop like an insect into tree bark. Even all these years later, his gait and habits are closer to a wary street-rat than a well-groomed graduate of the prestigious University
His particular magical specialty is not widely known or well understood, but if one's magic is truly the expression of one's soul, then Pilfer's is a magic of restlessness, of energy and movement, and of sudden shifts and subtle misperceptions.

Nemesio Lamperouge

Black hair, short and neat. Dark blue eyes, sometimes appearing purple. A student at the universtity until his recent graduation with honors. Appears cold and distant to most, an air of aloofness and mystery about him. Is not known for any great magical talents, yet is able to wield his keen mind and what little extra skills he appears to have with surgical precision. Tends to dress well, regardless of the occasion, and doesn't allow himself to outwardly show any discomfort or annoyance in the presence of others, his circle of close friends being a rare exception to that.

Character Name: Derrick Oaks
Character Points: 75
Race: Human
Occupation: Student
Age: 19
Sex: Male
Height: 5'9"
Weight: 177lbs

Description:
Derrick is a rather non-descript man, being of middling build, neither portly nor slender, and possessing the common combination of dirty blonde hair and brown eyes. But yet while his physical appearance would not set him apart from the norm, some manner of intangible quality makes him difficult to forget and easy to pick out of a crowd. For clothing, Derrick prefers the simple attire of any normal working man, in his case a light blue tunic and sturdy brown trousers, with a pair of good soft boots(the only somewhat expensive part of his wardrobe).

All About Monks
<Marisa> They're OP as fuck
<Marisa> They definitely don't blow in 3.5
<Marisa> after a certain level they basically just attack repeatedly until it dies
<Marisa> they're immune to a bunch of high level effects
<Marisa> just by being monks
